Amen.
🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Gov. Ron DeSantis just BLEW UP and went on an America first RAMPAGE on national TV
"I saw NO INDICATION that Republican senators were interested in doing conservative change! WHY haven't we done immigration, SHUT OFF H1B visas?! WHY haven't we CODIFIED Trump's immigration executive orders?! Why haven't we STRIPPED jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?! There's SO MANY THINGS we COULD HAVE DONE."
"THEY DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT IT."
"They say, 'oh, if only we needed 50 votes we would've done it!' YOU DON'T HAVE 50 VOTES. You NEVER SHOWED you'd do conservative things, even with 50 votes! [RE: filibuster]...I NEVER saw an indication that they'd do it."
"This midterm was a rebuke of the president and Congress...BUT, a LOT of our voters stayed home because they were FRUSTRATED with the LACK of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate."
A fire was just lit under this man.
Honestly have not seen him get that fired up in a LONG time
We definitely deserved better from our Senate. Now, we need to repair and win in 2028, or Democrats are destroying America!
The @HouseGOP and @SenateGOP should work to pass a reconciliation package in the next 8 weeks to take away leverage points from Democrats on spending.
Agree.
🚨 I call on Gov. Abbott to IMMEDIATELY convene a special session to REIN IN EXECUTIVE EMERGENCY POWERS… before Gina Hinojosa is sworn in!
Republicans lost last night, but Democrats were not sworn in.
We still have total power in Texas, and we must act like it by using the remaining ten weeks to restore separation of powers and limit the emergency powers that Governor-Elect Hinojosa is set to inherit, which would allow her to destroy liberty in Texas by executive fiat.
I’ve warned since I was first elected that NO governor, Republican or Democrat, should have unchecked emergency powers!
Now that Texas has elected a Democrat Governor, the urgency is undeniable… and inaction is intolerable.
Without action, Governor Hinojosa will inherit the powers of a DICTATOR.
Due to the absurd (and almost certainly unconstitutional) Texas emergency powers laws, Gov. Hinojosa will literally have the power to modify laws, ignore laws, or create and enforce laws – including criminal laws – on a whim!
Today is a day for ACTION, and bold leadership.
The Texas Legislature must immediately pass, and Governor Abbott must sign, legislation like HB911, which I filed in 2022 and warned at the time, that “Never ending emergency powers are antithetical to representative government and render people powerless. Legislative bodies allowing a single executive branch official to both write and enforce laws is the biggest threat to our constitutional system of divided government and should be opposed irrespective of which political party runs the executive branch.”
My legislation would protect liberty from executive fiat by, among other things, taking the following actions:
1. Prohibit the Governor from suspending or modifying statutes
2. Sunset emergency orders in 30 days if the legislature does not ratify the order
3. Prohibit the governor from reissuing emergency orders that expired or the legislature rejected
4. Require emergency orders to be narrowly tailored
5. Subject emergency orders to expedited judicial review
We have TEN WEEKS LEFT to protect Texas from near total Democrat rule.
I encourage every elected Republican in Texas to join my demand for Gov. Abbott to call a special session.
The future of liberty in America is literally on the line in Texas, and Texans deserve leadership that acts accordingly.

The voters have spoken, and I respect the choice they’ve made. It has been my honor to serve the people of this great state as Texas’ first female Land Commissioner. The General Land Office is one of the most significant offices in Texas, and I will do everything in my power to ensure a smooth and successful transition in the months ahead.
Texas is the beating heart of our Republic. You and I both know that we are at a crossroads. Our best days are ahead of us– if we have the courage to seize them. Now is a critical time to rebuild and bring new leaders into the fight. Our mission is bigger than any one person or any one election.
From the ashes, we will rise again stronger, more resolute and more committed than ever to ensure the future of Texas for our children and nation. The darkness is always broken by the light of Dawn.
The American people want elected officials to do the job they were sent to do.
Our message didn’t resonate. We needed to meet voters where they are and focus on what matters to them: their communities, their families, good-paying jobs, and affordable healthcare.
Put people first. Deliver results.

Tonight, Florida voted to keep our state safe, strong, and free. Grateful for your trust. We’ll keep locking up child predators, backing law enforcement, and defending your God-given rights.

THANK YOU FLORIDA!
I am humbled and grateful beyond measure. As your Governor, I will give you everything I have.
We are going to make life in Florida more affordable. We are going to keep our streets safe. We are going to invest in our young people so that they can attain the Florida Dream that all of us love so dearly.
Florida is the envy of the nation. I will fight day and night to keep it that way and to lift our state to even greater heights.
God Bless you, God Bless Florida, and God Bless America.

In a crushing election cycle for Republicans across the country, Florida is a stalwart of victory.
Every statewide candidate Gov @RonDeSantis endorsed beat their Democrat opponent outside of recount margins. Governor, Attorney General, Ag Commissioner, CFO, and U.S. Senator.
On top of that, the constitutional amendment he championed for property-tax overhaul—hotly contested by special interest groups and local governments—passed well over the required 60% threshold. This is a generational victory for tax reform that will make Florida the envy of the nation.
Many will now see what we in Florida have long understood: Voters trust him.

Florida sweeps again — congrats to the statewide ticket:

Assuming Republicans lose the seats where prediction markets have the Democrats at 90+% to win, that would produce 55 Democrat Senate seats.
Chance of confirming a worthy successor to Justice Thomas and/or Alito during President Trump’s term: Zero.
Chance of confirming a worthy successor during a hypothetical GOP admin 2029-2033: probably zero (GOP won’t be able to recapture enough seats in 28).

Election Day is here! Feeling especially grateful today for the Texans whose path we crossed across this great state and for every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart to our campaign.
It is the honor of a lifetime to serve Texas as Land Commissioner.
We put our trust in God, remain grateful for the journey, and look forward to continuing to do great things for the people of this state.
God bless Texas 🇺🇸🦬

Republicans have delivered wins on cutting taxes, reducing spending, and securing the border. But our work is far from finished.
We must meet voters where they are and tackle affordability, healthcare costs, and housing while making clear the differences between our record and the policies supported by Democrats like James Talarico.
The stakes are high. The future of Texas and America is on the line.
Polls close at 7 p.m.
Agreed. Been trying to message gas prices, housing prices, and healthcare for a while… but hard to crack through. “Dems bad” only gets you so far…
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis:
Some of these Republicans are saying, "Oh, well, the gas, don't worry. It's no big deal." Or they're trying to blame Biden.
No, no. Listen, we've just got to be honest. Gas is higher. It hurts people, working-class people, and it's higher because of the Iran conflict.
That's just the fact. If you can't admit that to voters, then you're gaslighting them, and they're not going to listen to you on other things.

Hollywood people somehow are getting even dumber.
Seth Rogen says he and his wife are now more grateful than ever that they decided not to have children he’s not afraid to explain why.
He admits they used to question whether they’d made the right decision, but now their conversations have shifted to, “Honestly, thank God we don’t have children.”
His reasoning? They’re in the prime of their lives, understand themselves better than ever, and have the freedom to pursue their careers, enjoy life, and build the kind of relationship they’ve always wanted.
But Seth took it a step further, saying he sees people with children struggling to find the same time for work and personal enjoyment that he and his wife have.
“I seem to get a lot more active enjoyment out of not having kids than anyone I know seems to get out of having kids.”
That statement will probably divide people. Some see raising children as life’s greatest joy, while others believe a fulfilling life doesn’t have to include parenthood.
Do you think Seth has a point, or is there a kind of happiness you can only understand after having children?
