Following last night's AGM, we're so sad to report that the Board informed members that @TheGradClub at Queen's University is entering bankruptcy trusteeship and shuttering for good. Goodbye Grad Club. Gone but not forgotten. We will miss you so.

Oh, be careful, Merriam-Webster, lest we suffer vertigo from the dizzying heights of our lexical ground.
It’s that time of year again. 🥸 Year 14 for me of #Movember. I was pleased to be inducted to the @MovemberUK Hall of Fame earlier this year and got to hear great stories of why we continue to Mo. There is still work to do. Please consider supporting: movember.com/m/christopherra…

Happy Energy Day #COP29. Kicking off with @PastCoal Solutions Dialogue. Congrats PPCA on fostering global dialogues and exchanges this year and the refresh of the Finance Principles. Welcome @StanChart & @GovUganda. 2024 also marks the end of coal in 🇬🇧 #coaltoclean @KerryMP
Another #energyday at #COP29. My first with @neso_energy. Important as the world looks closer at the expansion of grids and the decarbonization of power systems. @CraigDyke77 #cleanpower
Exciting prologue to tomorrow from #COP29 Presidency as the COP looks to discuss commitments to long duration storage and grid build out. Critical infrastructure in the #energytransition. @TinneVdS echoes the call for countries to sign the grids pledge.

"Clean power by 2030" is "achievable…without increasing costs" & would insulate the UK from "volatile intl gas prices", says NESO
But we'll need to 2x onshore wind, 3x offshore wind & solar + massively ramp up flex & storage to get there
A few observations…🧵
