We honor lives lost, stand with survivors, and call for safer streets for all especially pedestrians, cyclists, and children.

We join the rest of the world to commemorate the World Day of remembrance for road Traffic Victims #WDoR2025.
This day is aimed at providing a platform for road traffic victims and their families to remember lives lost, acknowledge the work of the emergency services,
advocate for better support for road traffic victims and victim families as well as promote evidence-based actions to prevent and eventually stop further road traffic deaths and injuries.
Working together with partners like @BloombergDotOrg, @MoWT_Uganda, @PoliceUg @itmsug, @Akeda4 and others, we are effecting a series of road safety campaigns including implementing a 30 km/h limit in both school zones and city roads, Safe Kids - Safe Future and others, all of which are aimed at realizing safer city roads #ForABetterCity.

The "Safe Kids, Safe Future" campaign is still on and today, we visited Buganda Road Primary School in Central Division.
The campaign is aimed at raising #RoadSafety awareness amongst pupils through interactive demonstrations and engaging discussions.

In partnership with @itmsug and Traffic @PoliceUg, we have embarked on the kids road safety campaign in schools aimed at sensitizing and teaching pupils to understand traffic regulations, to recognise and interpret road signs and to build confidence in them when using the road.
Today, we sensitised Ntinda Primary school in Nakawa Division.
