The 7s were having trouble with surface area, so we did a quick build with self closing cubes in #hawksmakerspace. Showed that the surface area does not change when the net becomes a 3D shape.

First year teachers are different these days. During my first few years I was pretty bad. I didn't know it, of course, but I cringe now looking back. The beginning teachers I see now though? FIRE. Truly...it took me years to get to where they are starting.
