Security isn't a feature — it's the product.
#EthereumClassic is secured by:
✅ Pure Proof-of-Work
✅ Global miner network
✅ 100+ TH/s hash rate (and growing!)
No staking cabals. Just honest, expensive-to-attack security.

🎉 Since January 2024, the #ETC hashrate has more than doubled, skyrocketing from 127TH to over 259TH, and even peaking at over 300 Terrahashes in April of this year. It's hard to fathom that just five years ago, on August 16, 2020, it was a mere 1.59TH!

An ambassador from the ClassicDAO foundation will help in judging projects based on their technical quality, innovative ideas and most importantly sustainably for the ecosystem!
Additionally, the ClassicDAO foundation is preparing a proposal to offer additional support to hackathon participants with building services and funding after the event to encourage further building in the ecosystem.
