Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. Nervous Musk, Trump, Vance have all been outclassed in public arguments these last few days. Government failure, stock market crash, and dictatorial alliances are not popular. People are starting to realize that there is no truth here beyond the desire for personal wealth and power.

CNN analyst says Democrats should have listened to Bernie Sanders when he said the focus should be “on bread and butter issues.” “A lot of people attacked him for that, saying, well, are you saying cultural politics don’t matter? He wasn’t saying that.”

The introduction of more inclusive institutions, less extraction and the rule of law would create long-term benefits. So why don’t the elite simply replace the existing economic system? The laureates’ model for explaining the circumstances under which political institutions are formed and changed has three components. The first is a conflict over how resources are allocated and who holds decision-making power in a society (the elite or the masses). The second is that the masses sometimes have the opportunity to exercise power by mobilising and threatening the ruling elite; power in a society is thus more than the power to make decisions. The third is the commitment problem, which means that the only alternative is for the elite to hand over decision-making power to the populace. #NobelPrize

It's just incredible that these conditions and this treatment of prisoners are allowed without prosecution in the United States, but, then again, it's Texas. We've seen the current #Texas governor's cruelty before. And #Texans voted him into office. theguardian.com/us-news/arti…

#AIPAC is #Netanyahu 's propaganda arm of disinformation and an enemy to all free thinking people. They must be registered as a foreign agent and be known to the American people as hardliner supporters of fascist ideology. #CoriBush #Israel #MiddleEast theguardian.com/us-news/arti…
