I lied, one last slide (maybe) from my climate lecture this week. I have a hard time figuring out why having young people feel helpless about their future and the future of the planet will motivate them to be good stewards of the environment. Seems very counterintuitive to me.

Today's estimated global warming is 0.36°C (0.65°F) warmer than the 1979-2000 average for the date... despite 50% of total manmade emissions.
Given that 90+% of temperature stations are biased upward and not accurate to w/i 1.0°C (1.8°F), that warming is not even measurable.
