A rogue officer, reportedly not dispatched and not called, raced across town and fired 9 shots within 60 seconds of arriving, killing Stevie Jones, a 55-year-old grandfather experiencing a mental health crisis in Hartford, CT! Why did this have to happen? We don't need officers acting as the judge, jury, and executioner!

Roger Fortson was a 23-year-old Senior Airman who chose to serve this country, and he was proud to wear that uniform. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend who was killed at the door of his own home.
His family has carried that loss every single day, and the recent verdict in his death has broken their hearts all over again. I want everyone who loved Roger to know his life and his service mattered, and they will ALWAYS matter!
We will will keep fighting for Roger, and we will stand with them every step of the way as they pursue their civil case in federal court and seek accountability for the tragic loss of his life.

The Mississippi State Medical Examiner's autopsy report found no water in his lungs or airways, despite the grand jury report suggesting Nolan Wells' death was an accidental drowning. The cause and manner of death remain undetermined, with documented evidence of head injuries noted in the report.

Here's MS NOW reporter @gardnerakayla describing her arrival at the White House this morning. Her badge didn't work. "The officer asked me to hand over my badge. He said that it was disabled. I asked why I was not able to get inside. He said it was above him."

They shut down the Legislative Branch of the United States of America because I was outmaneuvering the Speaker to expose a global sex trafficking ring and impeach a rogue cabinet secretary.
It was the only way they could stop me.

👇🏽He’s right. The highest court in the land ruled that NCAA & conferences repeatedly violated the law for decades. Now the they want Congress to bless their illegal practices.

Most people don't know college scholarships aren't guaranteed for 4 years. They're one-year options that must be picked up annually. If not, you're out. Why can't athletes transfer once if they can be cut any year?

How UN-AMERICAN is that?!
I’m taking a stand against student-athletes having to make major decisions without proper representation or a seat at the table.

This bill is trash. And the so-called HBCU grants are UNFUNDED. There are ZERO monetary figures in this bill. HBCUs are getting played
The Protect College Sports Act advances through the U.S. Senate to establish federal regulations on NIL, revenue sharing, and transfer rules.
It also advocates for HBCUs and has support from the MEAC and SWAC.
Howard football player Kedrick Green says the bill would give HBCU athletes "security and a fair opportunity."
But Athletes.org, an advocacy organization for college athletics, noted this investment in HBCUs is only “authorized” by the bill and not mandated.
“It does not actually appropriate a single dollar,” the organization said.
There's a lot to be settled.

Non-revenue sports aren't being hurt by the NIL era. They are being shut down by the institutions, who pour all their resources into the revenue sports. They they sell out to private entities to fund their NIL purses. Those people, who care only about the bottom line, cut areas they feel aren't ROI's.

"This past year alone over 12 Division I tennis and swim programs have been cut due to funding being diverted away from non- revenue generating sports."
