There is not a single credible argument why Tennessee should be ranked behind Alabama on Tuesday. If they are, throw out the ranking. They have the exact same record. Tennessee beat Kentucky (Alabama’s best win) by the exact same margin as Alabama did, and Tennessee didn’t trail deep into the third quarter.
If Alabama’s win over MSU is a good win, Tennessee’s win over Auburn (who beat Georgia) is a better win.
FSU and Ga Tech are 3-5 and 2-6.
In Alabama’s two losses, they played two ranked teams and lost by a total of 19 points (once at home and once on the road).
In Tennessee’s two losses, they played two ranked teams and lost by a total of 6 points (once at home and once on the road).
Most importantly, the defining data point, by far, when comparing these two teams is the football game played in Neyland Stadium three weeks ago where Tennessee beat Alabama senseless.

A high school athlete shouldn’t have to choose between being loyal to his football program and enjoying another sport.
If our definition of commitment requires a teenager to give up everything else he loves, maybe we need to rethink commitment.

I love it!
Last night, the referees kept telling my OL to stop being so aggressive and excessive with their blocks.
I work hard to establish a standard with my guys: Finish every single play!
I’m not telling my guys to ease up. We’re going to play physical, finish blocks, and compete through the whistle!!
If the defensive guys don’t like it, they can work to get off the blocks. That’s football.
I’m not a big “sports are rigged” guy. But three touchdowns called back? South Carolina -2.5 all week, needing to kick a last-second FG to win by 3? I don’t know, man… 🤔
