The other biggest point is that the Jedi code was so sacrosanct that it could never be violated whenever the code gave a negative outcome for Anakin, but suddenly, when the Jedi code was finally in his favor and dictated keeping Palpatine alive, instead, Palpatine was to be killed in blatant violation of the code.
The Jedi all of a sudden were willing to throw the code out the window when it benefited them, but never when it benefited Anakin. Which is why Mace Windu, instead, ends up thrown out the window.
I wonder why young guys relate to this story so much and find it so compelling.

The most honorable thing I have ever seen a man do is to go to a job he hates, and be surrounded by people he doesnāt like, day after day, year after year, because the people he loves are counting on him.

I donāt even know which one this is, but itās one of the strongest ones Iāve had in a long long time. The desperation in his voice. You can see the sight of his kids in his eyes when he says heās supposed to be home with them. You can see the math heās doing in his head as he calculates how much money he has left, and how much he needs for his mortgage, and when itās due.
What the hell is the American dream anymore? Is this what itās about? Is there anyone who would say this guy isnāt working his ass off? For what? So that 25% of his income can go to a government that wastes it on a bunch of shit he didnāt vote for? Subsidizing the food he stocks grocery stores with for people who donāt work a 1,000th of how hard he works to buy groceries with EBT cards that he pays for, which then drives up the cost of groceries for him and his family that he pays for out of his paycheck because heās doing it the right way.
This entire system is shit. Itās shit. There is no nicer way to put it. It is dog. shit.
This guy should be working a 9-5 at a job that gives him dignity so that he can be at home with his kids at a decent time. Instead heās some jerk offās content. His stressed out, end of his rope reaction is some assholeās income.
This is bleak stuff. Absolutely bleak.

This guy is out here desperately trying to make a living to put a roof over his kidsā heads. He, like my dad growing up, probably left before they woke up and got home after they went to bed, just to do it all again the next day. And he had to put up with being exploited for some retarded kidās content that heāll put online for strangers to laugh at.
And yet this guy, with all thatās going on, greets this punk ass kid with a smile. Likeā¦ how? Do people even stop to ask themselves how a guy can be under that much immense pressure and stress and still be immediately nice to a stranger?
This is reaching a tipping point. Regular guys are being pushed to their absolute limits by this stuff. They work endless hours for corporations, hardly get to see the kids they do it all for, and have to be subjected to some retardās idea of Tik Tok content.
