EXCLUSIVE: University Hockey Captain Killed in Wrong Way Collision With Twice-Deported Mexican Illegal in Sanctuary Connecticut A beloved member of the University of New Haven community was killed in a head-on collision with a driver who is in the U.S. illegally, federal authorities have confirmed with Border Hawk. The tragedy unfolded at around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 16 in North Haven, Connecticut. Ryan O’Shea, 21, was driving southbound on Interstate 91 when a pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction slammed into his Honda Accord, causing his vehicle to strike two SUVs, Connecticut State Police (CSP) explained in an accident summary. O’Shea, who was on his way back to campus after playing in a hockey game, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, who suffered “serious life-threatening injuries,” was identified as 31-year-old Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, a resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut. “In May 2013, Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, after he illegally entered the country. Carmona-Lopez was issued an expedited removal and was removed from the country,” the Department of Homeland Security told us. “He then illegally reentered the country near the Rio Grande Valley after being removed—a felony—and was once again arrested by Border Patrol in May 2013. Carmona-Lopez was issued a final order of removal on May 30, 2013. He then reentered the country at an unknown time and place.” It is currently unclear if Carmona-Lopez will face charges in connection with the crash. A resident of Stony Point, New York, O’Shea served as senior assistant captain of the university’s club hockey team and also chapter president of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was studying criminal justice with a concentration in police science and aspired to work for the New York Police Department. “Ryan was not only a great leader, but he was a caring friend to anyone around him. He always knew how to light up a room and make people laugh, no matter the time. Ryan’s leadership and the memories he has made will never be forgotten,” Kappa Sigma wrote in an Instagram post memorializing O’Shea. Ryan’s sisters said he “always found a way to make everything positive.” “He was always trying to go out of the way to help others and include them in new spaces if they didn’t know anyone,” Kiera O’Shea stated. Two memorial scholarships have been established in Ryan O’Shea’s name. Contributions can be made here. We contacted CSP to request more information on this investigation and Carmona-Lopez’s current condition and will provide updates if they become available.

What a photo! @Brewers find this kid!
A little Brewers fan watched his team win the first World Series championship in franchise history and just broke down in tears. That is what baseball does to a kid. He will tell his grandkids about this night. Congratulations, Milwaukee. You earned every one of those tears.

Why isn’t @Pontifex speaking of this?! Why isn’t he doing more when he can?! We need a strong leader in the Vatican!
Pray for our Christian brothers and sisters being persecuted and murdered around the world.

He was just stocking frozen pizzas. Red Baron polo on. Glasses. Trying to get through another late shift. A prankster walks up, asks for the time, holds a phone to his phone, plays the Apple Pay sound, and laughs. "Thanks bro, I just took your money." Walt looks at him and says it plain. It’s not a joke to me. My life is hard enough as it is. You’re probably making money off this. I can’t even pay my mortgage. I got four kids at home. So not funny. He wasn’t performing for the camera. He was tired. He was late getting home again. His kids had already gone to bed without him. He was up at 5 a.m. to hit more stores. And some stranger treated his day like content. That clip went everywhere because millions of people heard their own life in those words. The early mornings. The mortgage that never gets easier. The four kids that need you more than the job can pay. The feeling that you work hard and somehow still end up behind. You don’t have to be a pizza stocker in Michigan for that to resonate. You just have to know what it feels like to give everything and still come up short. People who had never met Walt recognized him instantly. They saw the red shirt and the frozen aisle and thought, “That could be my dad. My brother. My neighbor. Me.” A quarter of a million dollars in his GoFundMe, and still climbing. It's not about one viral moment. It’s people saying the quiet part out loud. Hard work should be enough. It shouldn’t take a stranger’s camera and a public breakdown for a man with four kids to catch a break. Walt didn’t ask for any of it. He just wanted to finish his shift and get home. And a whole lot of Americans decided that was worth standing up for. God Bless Walt. And God Bless America.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! Bobby Kennedy is dropping HARD TRUTHS about the REAL "genocide" in the Middle East, and it's not Palestine: "What happened to the Christians? There were millions and millions of Christians. Those were all Christian countries. Egypt was a Christian country. Libya was a Christian country. Algeria was a Christian country. Iraq was a Christian country. Lebanon was a Christian country in 1948." "The Christians have been expelled." "THESE are genocides, and they have a genocide that is envisioned in some of the chartered documents. It's in the lectures of the imams. It's in the sermons!" RFK dropped similar stats about Jewish populations in the region. Nearly 900K Jews were driven out of Arab nations after 1948, Iraq's ancient Christian community was decimated by over 80%, and Lebanon went from a Christian-majority nation to a fester for Hezbollah The media refuses to acknowledge THAT. Yet today, people like Abdul El Sayed think AMERICA is the evil one for trying to prevent Iran's Islamists from getting a NUKE Look what their own playbook orders them to do! Trump did the right thing 🇺🇸

Fr. Ripperger: “There are some virtues God wants you to become proficient in. He wants you to excel specifically in certain areas. This is WHY He allows people to be tempted in those areas: a stronger struggle is required. It’s why God allows demons in our lives—to sanctify us.”

The Angel of Peace (also called the Angel of Portugal) appeared to the three shepherd children of Fatima.... Lúcia dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto, three times in 1916, before the apparitions of Our Lady began in 1917. He taught them two main prayers of reparation. The first, which he taught them to say while kneeling with their foreheads to the ground: “My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You! I ask pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love You!” The second, which he taught them while they were prostrate, after showing them a host and chalice suspended in the air and giving them Holy Communion: “Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly, and I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference with which He Himself is offended. And, through the infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of You the conversion of poor sinners.” These are the prayers recorded in Sister Lúcia’s memoirs of the Fátima events.

Tony Dungy says that he's pretty sure that NBC fired him because he's pro life. Tony and his wife, both devout Christians who have 11 children, says that NBC knew who he was when they hired him. He was a speaker at the March for Life in 2023 which NBC was unhappy about. He and his wife run the Dungy Family Foundation which has worked with pregnancy centers. Honorable man.
