Well you could just have searched it instead of pretending to be incapable of understanding.
Weasel words are words that can be injected to make a statement technically true but misleading.
Easiest example being "could" The negation of could is that I have to affirmatively prove it's impossible which is extremely hard. So you can inject "It could be..." into tons of nearly impossible things and still be technically accurate.
Here with games we have terms like "player count" being used instead of "units sold". Meaning that game pass which is insanely less profitable than a proper game sold can then be presented against a game where most of those players actually bought a copy at retail price.
The game that people paid for is more popular but since we aren't separating players from buyers the game pass game looks better in the stats. Then when the studio goes under due to low profitability people act shocked.
And talking about revenue/earnings means nothing if we cannot subtract the costs and get the profit figures.
If I earn 10 million dollars on a game I made in my spare time I'm going to laugh all the way to the bank. If a AAA does the same the studio gets closed down.
