I just really cannot wrap my head around the Gophers fans who never want to schedule St. Thomas. I have been to so many worthless non conference games over the last five years, and that was easily the most fun noncon game I’ve seen at the barn since covering the team (2020ish) I completely understand it from a coaches perspective, but I don’t understand fans who don’t want that game. That was everything that’s fun about college sports, now you can chirp every St. Thomas fan you see.

If you wait until March to follow college basketball, we’ll pray for you. The atmosphere at TD Garden looks and sounds like the best time of the year. Huge credit to UConn and Michigan playing this game five days into the season. So, so good for the sport.
