Pope Leo XIV bringing the jokes meeting with Villanova and Notre Dame 😂:
“Growing up on the south side of Chicago, we oftentimes heard, “Go Irish!”
But, as you all know, Prevost graduated from Villanova.
So the Pope doesn't take sides.
Prevost has another opinion, but we won't do that now.”

NEW: Pope Leo XIV is set to become the first sitting pontiff in the Catholic Church’s two-thousand-year history to vote in a secular election.
Leo requested an Illinois mail ballot on Oct. 3, and it was sent to his brother John’s home in New Lenox, Ill.
John Prevost visited the pope at the Vatican on Wednesday and may now be carrying the ballot back to the Will County clerk by hand. thelettersfromleo.com/p/pope…

If you are not Catholic, I absolutely, positively, unapologetically want you to convert to Catholicism.
I would be a monster if I didn’t want you to receive the greatest possible gift one can receive.

I’m traveling today, and before my flight, I wanted to share this beautiful traditional Catholic prayer for travelers.
May God protect all who are traveling today and all days, and bring them safely to their destinations.
St. Raphael the Archangel, pray for us! ✈️🙏

Today in 1958, Angelo Roncalli was elected Pope, taking the name John XXIII.
The story goes that when he stepped into the room of tears after winning on the eleventh ballot of the conclave, the standard Small, Medium, & Large white cassocks were not big enough for the somewhat large man. So, they ripped seams along the sides of the biggest size they had and safety pinned him in before he appeared on the loggia of St. Peter's Basilica. Seeing himself in the mirror, the new Pope joked, "This man will be a disaster on television!"
Pope St. John XXIII, pray for us, to laugh at ourselves when necessary.

It’s the feast of St. Jude, one of the most popular saints around. We go to Jesus through his intercession for impossible causes. We don’t really know why – scholars speculate it’s because he was the forgotten apostle, because he was mixed up with Judas Iscariot. So, St. Jude gives us a lot of hope. My beloved Milwaukee Brewers have long been considered an impossible cause. We’ll keep praying! @thegnewsroom

This is why we do this.
Not for likes. Not for money. Not to win internet debates.
Someone who spent two years wrestling with the Catholic Church is now in OCIA, coming to see the truth of what the Church teaches.
Sometimes the post someone hates today is the post they remember when they start looking for answers tomorrow.
Do not stop planting the seeds and telling the truth. God will do the rest.
All glory to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Pope Leo XIV denounced all religious wars in a video message on Tuesday, marking the 40th anniversary of the International Meeting for Peace in Assisi.
“There is no such thing as a holy war: only peace is holy,” Leo said in his message. “War can never be waged in the name of God.”
The pontiff, originally scheduled to travel to Assisi for the gathering, canceled his trip on his doctors’ advice, as he continues to recover from thoracic surgery performed on Oct. 13. The Vatican announced the cancellation on Oct. 23, adding that he would send a message for the event.
