Today, October 28, is the Feast of Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles.
Have you ever prayed the St. Jude Chaplet?
I put together a tutorial showing how to pray this beautiful devotion.
Saints Simon and Jude, pray for us! 🙏✝️
Martin Luther chose October 31, the eve of All Saints, to challenge the Catholic Church.
But there’s something rather ironic about the date he chose.
Even the Protestant Reformation couldn’t escape the Catholic calendar. ✝️

I’m traveling today, and before my flight, I wanted to share this beautiful traditional Catholic prayer for travelers.

5/ These aren’t insignificant concerns, especially for Catholics who supported Trump believing his administration would better defend life, faith, and the interests of American families. And no promised accountability?
13/ And frankly, I’d like to hear more about why Fr. Ripperger’s public ministry required a yearlong restriction while Abp Golka’s own very public appearance at the WH is being defended as simply “doing what Catholic priests do”.

And now, just days later, he finds himself at the center of another controversy.
It’s strange, to say the least, especially considering a few things…
Denver Archbishop speaks out and points out the obvios to ignorant critics: ewtnnews.com/world/us/denver…
3/ This White House appearance comes at a time when @POTUS is facing growing criticism from Catholics, including many who previously supported him.
Why?
2/ Abp Golka recently asked Fr Ripperger to step away from public speaking & interviews for a year. Yet here we have the archbp participating in a highly publicized WH event. I understand these aren’t canonically identical situations but the contrast certainly raises questions
