The Starlink/Starshield Propaganda War —- Until a couple of years ago, Starlink was a commercial venture to bring another conduit for internet and communications to market. Its potential for military uses came in so fast, that a seperate security environment for use, liabilities and contractual arrangements had to be developed “on the fly” and Starshield was created. Ukraine and its engineers had access and found some “loopholes” and made efforts to circumvent restrictions. Similar to past PC gamers doing everything they can to overclock CPU’s and memory even if it voids their warrantee. Ukraine has every incentive to maximize the performance of whatever systems it has during an existential war; that is not surprising. Even Russia, has obtained starlink for analysis and hacking. Ukraines use of propaganda is not restricted on claiming Musk or the USA is the problem. Musk and the USA, are restricted and have to follow actual Security issues and Classification. Providers of satellite communications, aircraft software, or similar systems typically impose contractual, geographic, and operational limits for reasons that include network integrity, liability, export-control compliance, and preventing the technology from being reverse-engineered or used in ways that create broader risks. Foreign military sales and similar arrangements routinely restrict reverse engineering, unauthorized software changes, and certain uses precisely because the seller retains responsibility for the system’s security, performance guarantees, and the risk that modifications (or captured hardware) could be exploited by adversaries. Unauthorized changes can also void support arrangements and create single points of failure that affect the whole network.

Stop the propaganda about the stupid golf course and Hains Park 👇

You people love to lie. Quit using a layout rendering that purposely omits roads and paths. Consult the actual plans. The Official NPS Proposals: The actual NPS Traffic Safety Improvements Plan focuses on reconfiguring rather than removing the roadway. The proposal removes one of the two vehicle lanes on Ohio Drive to replace it with dedicated pedestrian and bike lanes while explicitly keeping a vehicle lane open for public access and parking. The Trump Administration's Golf Redesign Concept: The alarm regarding a total road removal is driven by a conceptual rendering released by President Trump for a championship golf course redesign. Publicly shared images of this concept show an 18-hole course extending entirely to the peninsula's edge, with no perimeter loop road visible in the drawing And over 1600 oce the 1700 cherry trees remain.

BREAKING: My statement to President Trump. Mr. President Trump, @realDonaldTrump @POTUS The interview with Ukrainian woman speaking about the horrors in my country is telling only part of the truth. Under the rule of Zelensky, several generations of Ukrainian men have already been destroyed. He has forced 10 million people to leave the country. And he has driven the 20 million who remain into fear and despair. Ukraine once had a population of 52 million. What we are witnessing is a sophisticated form of genocide, the aim is to delete Ukraine off the world map. And Zelensky is the one who supports it. Ukrainians want to change their government. But Zelensky has taken away that possibility by canceling elections. His security forces, armed gangs, and police keep people living in fear. I am a member of the Ukrainian Parliament. I have been in prison for three years because I called for an end to the war and publicly spoke out against the destruction of the Orthodox Church. Zelensky put me in prison because I openly spoke about corruption in the Ukrainian government, including the Bidens and Burisma. Zelensky has also imprisoned another member of parliament, Yevhen Shevchenko, for similar reasons. Our colleague Artem Dmytruk @Dmytruk__Artem is living in exile. They also spoked about peace and peace deal with Russia. By making examples of us, Zelensky has frightened other members of parliament into silence. And ordinary Ukrainians are even more afraid to speak out. If we want Ukraine to have a chance to change its government and hold honest elections - elections that are necessary to end this war - we must first secure the release of civilian hostages: politicians, priests, and journalists. President Trump, we ask you to pay attention to the political prisoners and civilian hostages held by Zelensky and help to free these people. Without their freedom, there can be no honest elections. And there can be no peace. @elonmusk @johnpcoale @SEPeaceMissions @SteveWitkoff @jaredkushner @alexbruesewitz @FLOTUS #Ukraine #Peace #Trump

This makes sense. (1) Ukraine had been hacking Starlink to get around flight restrictions for years. (2) When Starlink tightened their security, the hacks failed. (3) For political reasons, Zelenskyy accused Musk of shutting down access.
‼️‼️ Now this is something! 🔽 This technical thread suggests (explains) that the entire Starlink/shield slowdown issue is not a consequence of a political decision in the US or by Musk but the result of Ukrainian engineers hacking the system to bypass it's controls and do something they are not permitted to do - and when Starlink took steps to prevent the bypassing and ensure the controls remained effective, suddenly the system stopped working in 'bypass mode' - and Zelensky then set out to politicise matters. The explanation makes the bits of the puzzle fit together and fits with the New York Times article in which Ukrainians explained that although the system is formally limited to 100 mph they have managed to exceed it. ~~~~ "What was really going on with the Starlink scandal in Ukraine? An analysis of the technical modifications, hacker boards, Elon Musk’s restrictions, and why drones started falling at the end of 2026 and Zelensky staged a pre-election Trump scandal. Big thread 👇 1/15 Let’s start with the tariffs. Inside the country, only civilian Starlink has always worked: the basic tariff ($100), commercial in-motion ($400), and priority headquarters ($2–4k). Aviation tariffs cost up to $1K–20K–100K+, but they are unavailable in the country. 2/15 Because of the high load, the network was overloaded. SpaceX had to keep prices high for the military in order to build an excess of ground stations around Ukraine for minimal signal latency. By the way, these sites with antenna domes recently began to be burned on orders from the darknet. 3/15 The main problem at the front is electronic warfare (EW). Because of GPS jamming, civilian Starlink chips froze, and with false location the terminal was blocked. The solution was a GPS hack board. Engineers soldered it inside to manually set the required coordinates. 4/15 The hack boards also allowed bypassing Musk’s geographic zones. For a long time Starlink did not work in the gray zone under Russian control. But if you entered the coordinates of a neighboring region of Ukraine, the connection came back to life. The Russians used this too, until Kyiv received exclusive whitelists. 5/15 By 2025 Musk began tightening the screws and lowering speed limits for commercial tariffs. But military engineers discovered a loophole: technically the satellite-terminal communication session is not rigidly tied to GPS. The protection was only on the terminal module itself. 6/15 If the terminal thought via the hack board that it was static, it itself sent a radio request to the satellite and received the necessary data for the session. There are already about 10,000 satellites, and the signal was picked up even with a spread of 150+ km. The drone was flying, but the Starlink server considered it stationary. 7/15 This was a shared secret. Before being sent to the front, the cases of new Starlinks were massively opened in order to solder in the GPS hack and install durable moisture-proof connectors. This way the ordinary tariff allowed drones to fly at high speeds. 8/15 At the beginning of 2026 Musk lowered the speed of the commercial tariff to 160 km/h across the entire planet. This is below the speed of many simple UAVs with a tailwind. But because of the mass use of hack boards in Ukraine, no one noticed this. The terminals reported that they were supposedly standing still. 9/15 At the END of 2026 SpaceX responded harshly. A server-side check was introduced: if according to GPS the terminal is stationary, but at the same time it switches from satellite to satellite too quickly (which reveals a real speed above 160 km/h), the server instantly drops the session. 10/15 The GPS hack stopped working. Ukrainian military began having problems with long-range UAVs. Now flights must be strictly planned so as not to exceed the 160 km/h limit. There is not always money for aviation tariffs, and SpaceX does not sell them because of the attacking nature of the use. 11/15 Against this background Zelensky is trying to get access to StarShield (the US military Starlink) without restrictions in order to fly over the Russian Federation. But Trump, Musk, and the Pentagon refuse him. The Ukrainians presented the restrictions as a political blockade, remaining silent about the fact that the Starlink speed limit has already been in place for a year. 12/15 Now there is behind-the-scenes ping-pong: Musk says that he changed nothing these days, Rubio states that StarShield is unavailable to Ukraine. The bottom line: Starlink is gradually being squeezed into the framework of cars and stationary use. Bypassing the system no longer works. 13/15 Whether the speed check was turned off or access was given to special aviation tariffs is still unclear. The failure affected a narrow segment of drones. However, satellite communication on super-high-speed drones was already a compromise because of the signal delays of 1000 km to orbit and back. 14/15 Russian UAV specialists are in no hurry to rejoice. The simplicity of using Starlink slowed down the development of other technologies in Ukraine. Now Kyiv can, on an emergency priority basis, refine more complex autonomous mesh-AI systems that will fly deep into the Russian Federation. End of thread. 15/15 Written based on materials from last year’s newspapers, most likely not true and total nonsense. No one and nothing is right on the internet. Author — a boring schoolboy from Georgia."

This morning, two former senior FBI officials, Nikki Floris, 46, and Bradley Benavides, 56, surrendered on arrest warrants after being charged with lying to Congress about their roles on the Foreign Influence Task Force during the 2020 election.  Floris and Benavides allegedly lied to Congress about their roles in the FBI’s Hunter Biden investigations, with one claiming they only learned about it from Wikipedia - despite evidence showing their involvement in helping shape the public narrative about Hunter Biden’s laptop right before the election.   Lying to Congress by anyone strikes at the heart of our democratic system, but when senior FBI agents lie to Congress believing they are above the law, it’s time to bring the hammer of justice down on them. When senior officials entrusted with safeguarding our nation’s security choose deception over duty, they undermine the very institutions they swore to uphold.   Today’s action makes clear that no one is above the law, and we will hold accountable all who obstruct the truth.

When the Agioi Fanendes updates its destination to "FOR ORDERS" (or its regional node like EETLL FOR ORDERS near Tallinn, Estonia), it means the vessel has no fixed, contractually bound offloading port declared to the public. 08:42 UTC on 23 October, the vessel changed her AIS destination again to “FOR ORDERS”, leaving her final destination unconfirmed. Most likely a swap or redirect that ends up in Turkey or Brazil. xitter.cf/computersagejab/status…

Doubtful it ever makes a U.S. port as we simply do not need it. Probably a swap with the purchased diesel and it will end up in a country like Turkey or a Brazil. The purpose of any Russian diesel purchases is relieve the upward pressure on prices until refinement can recover over time. It is not a loophole. The waivers were needed as the stupid Graham bill mandated 100% tariffs on all products from countries that purchase Russia energy. You know, countries like Japan, South Korea, EU (via Brussels), China, India, etc.. Do you know what 100% tariffs on all products from the countries would do to the global economy? If you are selfish, you simply do not care.
