A stronger, better-connected Telangana is taking shape, with CM Revanth Reddy pushing for railway infrastructure that matches the state’s growing economic and industrial needs.
During his meeting with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in Delhi, CM Revanth Reddy sought expedited approvals for pending railway projects, including the proposed Regional Ring Rail along the 360-km Regional Ring Road, the 130-km Vikarabad–Krishna railway line and a mega freight maintenance depot at Anantaram in Mahabubabad district.
He also pressed for progress on three major high-speed rail corridors connecting Hyderabad with Pune, Bengaluru and Chennai, while assuring that the State Government would initiate land acquisition once the Centre finalises their alignments.
