Higher inflation isn’t just driving up prices, it’s increasing the benefits bill. Either way, it’s working households who end up picking up the tab. Conservatives will cut the benefits bill, protect those who need help and get Britain working again.

Illegal immigrants shouldn't be housed in tiny villages. We have a plan, leave the ECHR so we can deport them instead.

I invited women from Piddington to Parliament because Labour isn’t listening to them. Their village of 300 faces over 1,200 male illegal migrants on its doorstep. Meanwhile, Labour is handing out leaflets explaining to these men that rape is a crime. You couldn’t make it up. Today we forced a vote to stop it. Labour and the Lib Dems refused to back us. Women should feel safe in their communities. Conservatives will leave the ECHR so we can deport illegal migrants instead of forcing small villages to bear the consequences.

A stronger economy. Lower taxes. Secure borders. A country that rewards work, backs families and defends itself. That is the Britain that the next Conservative government would build.

One year on from the horrific attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, we remember Melvin Cravitz and Adrian Daulby. A year later, too many British Jews still feel unsafe in their own country and continue to face vile antisemitic hatred. Britain cannot continue down this path. The Conservative Party will always stand with British Jews.

🥀 3 Months of Burnham - 3 Months of Failure • Made clear he is not serious about defence, saying funding our Armed Forces cannot come at the expense of welfare. • Failed to approve Jackdaw and Rosebank, leaving Britain more exposed on energy security while chasing votes in a by-election. • Borrowed record amounts, piling even more pressure onto the economy. • Kept pushing the Chagos surrender deal, giving away British territory and making taxpayers foot the bill. • Allowed more than 6,000 illegal migrants into the UK. • Failed to explain how he would bring the welfare bill down. • Spent more than £1 million of taxpayers’ money on a TikTok squad. • Appointed a Cabinet with barely any real business experience. • Tried to win taxpayers back with a 12p-a-day tax cut after Labour hit them with £60 billion in tax rises. Can you believe it’s only been three months? And the worst is still to come.

Those who can work, should work. That’s why the next Conservative Government will cut benefits for those who refuse to get back to work and introduce a “Back to Work” card restricting what they can spend benefits on, saving taxpayers £538 million a year.

Zoe Hollowood is incredibly brave to challenge her party in this way. I know what it’s like to state biological sex is real and be attacked for speaking common sense and telling the truth. She is not on my side of the political spectrum, but courage calls to courage everywhere. Zoe should be supported in trying to get the Lib Dems to stop being silly, follow the law and respect the supreme court judgement.
Yesterday our chair @hollowood_zoe asked @LibDems conference in a trans debate: "In 2026, are women allowed rights? Rights to dignity. Rights to safety. Rights to say no." Conference resoundingly voted 'no' thus deciding that women were second class citizens. 🧵

The Lib Dem’s are debating yet again letting men in women’s single sex spaces. Single sex spaces like toilets, changing rooms and hospital wards are there to keep women safe. With a few honourable exceptions it seems the left simply cannot get their heads around biological sex. Let me be clear. The @Conservatives will always protect safe spaces for women and understand what a woman is. telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

100% correct, it’s not the job of the state to subsidise lifestyle choices, @KemiBadenoch is the only party leader making this clear and putting forward the argument for fairness for those who work hard and make difficult choices.
'You should aspire to live wherever you want to live, but you shouldn't aspire for the government, i.e. other taxpayers, to pay for you to live wherever you want to' Conservative party leader Kemi Badenoch told #BBCBreakfast she would target housing allowance as one of the measures to reduce spending on welfare bbc.co.uk/news/topics/c2jq3d…

Burnham admitted today that benefit handouts are more important to him than funding defence. But it's not the first time Labour have admitted what's going on:
