Apparent controversial take based on social media but outside the Moonee Valley style velodrome and Cox Plate signature roar, this is an exceptional field 👏 👏 #coxplate

Will be a lot of talk re the Cox Plate being weak this week.
Without a proper headline star and no internationals, I can somewhat understand that view.
For me though the depth is well and truly there across the board.
Worth nothing this is the Timeform Peaks for the horses who possibly run.
SIR DELIUS- 127
CEOLWULF- 125
BIRDMAN- 124
COSMIC CRUSADER- 124
LIGHT INFANTRY MAN- 124
WARWOVEN- 123
AELIANA- 122
AUTUMN BOY- 121
A lot of quality in those numbers. They all run and it's a good race IMO.
