A sharia court has been launched in Padova, Italy.
Padova has been a famous European center for law studies since the University of Padova and its School of Law were founded in 1222.
A lawyer named Omar Vanin has now launched “The Italian Islamic Arbitration Chamber” in the city.
It is meant to serve Muslims in Italy who want to resolve civil and commercial disputes according to the principles of Muslim law.
A debate has started in Italy about whether it should be viewed as just an innocent case of private arbitration or as the first step towards a parallel justice system in Italy.

When the European Parliament passed its resolution against Brotherhood entryism 381 to 167 on 8 October, two of Denmark's governing parties stepped aside, the Social Democrats cast one blank vote and two of their MEPs never voted, while all three Socialist People's Party MEPs skipped it. The Social Democrats explained to Altinget that "such decisions must be built on facts".
Good, here is one. Denmark's own intelligence service published a 25 page terror threat assessment for 2026, and it mentions the Brotherhood exactly ZERO times.
So who is supposed to collect these facts, the Brotherhood itself?

Now that after a historic outturn the Israeli vote has been cast, and almost fully counted, I can take some time for a personal response to the questions raised regarding a report I made on the “Palestijnse Stem”, correctly translated from Dutch as the “Palestinian Voice”, not the “Palestinian Vote” as dubbed by AI in picture underneath. As we rightly apologised for the number of 7,5 million Palestinians mentioned in the introduction was incorrect. A lot of the online anger was focused on something else though, something that was not said nor implied. My report was not about a so-called right for all Palestinians to vote in the Israeli elections. The report was about one question only: how do the Palestinians LOOK at the Israeli elections? At no point the idea was raised that all Palestinians should have the right to vote in Israel. That would have been another topic altogether. Just watching the report would have helped to avoid this misinterpretation. It did start off with a wrong figure in the introduction, for which we apologised. Russian forces have begun taking civilians from occupied Oleshky to Russia, apparently disregarding previously announced agreements governing the operation.
The operations are being conducted by the Russian military, without American representatives or teams from either side’s ombudsman office present. Russia’s state news agency TASS is openly filming the operation.
There is no indication that civilians are being given a choice of where they wish to go. No buses or other vehicles designated to transport evacuees to Ukrainian-controlled territory are visible.
The operation raises serious concerns that Russia is once again exploiting a humanitarian evacuation to forcibly transfer Ukrainian civilians.
The parallels with the evacuation of Mariupol’s Azovstal steel plant are disturbing. Once again, Moscow appears to be disregarding agreed procedures while controlling the fate of Ukrainian civilians.
