Pune Police have asked Google and Apple to remove the Rapido app over unauthorized bike taxi operations.
FIR already registered against Rapido’s parent company, licence application still pending, fines collected from operators - yet the bike taxi option remains active and rides continue across the city.
Removing the entire app would also hit autos and cabs for new users.
Regulate the service properly instead of just chasing the app icon.

How does it work?
