Dash Core v24 RC4 is on testnet, and Pasta expects the final release in a week or two. It activates on mainnet after protocol 14.
Work on Evolution 5.1 has started, including usernames run as a contract and tradeable tokens.

We just released our biggest update to date, version 5 of the Evolution Platform.
It includes many significant changes, the foremost of which is shielded tokens! Once activated, you'll be able to mint and use tokens that leverage our state-of-the-art zero-knowledge privacy functionality.
Version 5 also massively overhauls our data contracts, giving more functionality for app developers: better login keys, better queries, built-in moderation and earning tools for contracts, and much more.
This is yet another step into making Dash one of the most evolved cryptocurrency projects on the market.
