Under the settlement, TCH must provide multidisciplinary detransition-related care FREE OF CHARGE for five years, including endocrinology, surgery, primary care, fertility counseling, mental health services, social work, and speech pathology.

Josh Turek's position on trans healthcare is to the right of nine red states. Medicaid covering gender affirming care has been *the* reason for trans people to vote blue. If I wanted to define "Dems abandoning trans people," it'd be "if/when Turek's position is normalized."

This about Dems is more or less true, but what I think people like the young woman in that video are responding to is the hundreds of millions of dollars in agitprop designed to turn their friends, family, and neighbors against them being met with either silence or retreat
It's an unbelievably scary and dangerous time to be trans in this country right now, and while it's true that a handful of Democratic candidates in more conservative areas are engaging in rhetoric that's not productive, the party remains resolutely committed to the civil rights and dignity of trans people. That's simply not in question.
I think it's really important for Democratic leaders to correct this record when given the opportunity to engage with this specific community.

The US-backed right-wing narco-dictatorship in Ecuador has arrested presidential candidate Luisa González, from the leftist Correísta movement, on fabricated charges.
This came after Ecuador's narco-regime banned the main left-wing opposition party.
Ecuador is run by dictator Daniel Noboa, the son of the country's richest billionaire oligarch, and a close ally of Donald Trump.
It has been admitted even by some mainstream Western media outlets that the Noboa family is deeply involved in cocaine trafficking, and works closely with organized crime networks.
