Science does not, as an end in itself, seek explanations. That is a spandrel effect of what it is science does.
Science seeks to describe and understand the structure of the World; out of that endeavor will fall explanations in virtue of those descriptions and mechanisms.
You’d be surprised how little actual science happens in data science.
Outside of A/B testing and causal inference methods (like the do-calculus on observational data), most of the work is predictive modeling or dashboarding. These can usually be explained by dozens of mutually exclusive stories, with no strong way to distinguish between them.
In a lot of cases it’s closer to sophisticated pattern-matching than science.
Science seeks explanations, and models don't automatically give them to us.
My big model sense is tingling. I think we're gonna see big releases in the next day or two. (My money is on new Astra followed by new Fable).

Man, rough night for a lot of people. But just imagine how much rougher it would be if you were a stupid dumpy bitch with no aura or friends who blew $474 million on literal and metaphorical losers. Historically noteworthy losers who not only lost, but set precedents for losing.
well I've got 10 hours until reset and haven't used any of my astra because opus has been so much better, may as well give it something to do:

I'd enjoy phantom blade 0 a lot more if boss fights were about 30-40%% shorter. Every single one overstays its welcome and just becomes a chore after the halfway point.
theo getting rage farmed for marketing. brother, you gotta chill.

Oh, you're projecting because nobody is using your shitty T3 Code clone, got it.
as I've said many times before, if there are optional/cost associated skills that are essential for every character, don't make them optional or cost associated. The two from FF:R that come to mind are arms akimbo and damage cap.
Every character needs to have these on at all times. Theyre just a tax for having good characters, which is poor design. (That's not to say the whole game is badly designed, just these two skills being cost-associated instead of unlockable upgrades).
