For those keeping track... here are the facts.
DC's CLAYFACE cost approximately $40–44M before a substantial P&A marketing spend, and WB does not keep the entire worldwide gross. At a likely $115–125M finish, it may eventually become profitable through post-theatrical revenue.
That doesn’t make it a breakout hit or generate the (pop) cultural momentum DC desperately needs.
“Probably won’t lose money” is an awfully low standard for one of the world’s biggest IP brands. Analysis isn’t hate simply because fans dislike the conclusion.
Get it? Got it. Good.
If SnyderVerse/GunnVerse stories were allowed to be told along side one another
The box office is going to lean and show which Universe is truly in demand over the other
We already know which Universe the Box Office would lean towards

JL 2/3 will film back to back once schedules are freed up. Based on its success, spinoffs will be considered and put into production.
Announcements will be done to avoid confusion amongst DC storylines. All DC fans will get what they want.

Leave DC characters alone. Let someone else who actually cares about this ip and these characters have a go at it. Give it up. Before you completely kill the brand.
