More of this from all of us. ♥️
Laura Failner is a SkyWest flight attendant. On July 7th, she witnessed this moment of kindness.
"I love looking for the good in the world! As I flew up to Washington today, I had this cute little 94-year-old lady get on my plane. She was frail and had a hard time getting back to her seat. There was a bit of confusion about where she was supposed to be seated. In first-class, this wonderful gentleman saw her plight and flagged me down. He said, "can you please get her and put her in my seat, and I will take hers." He walked back with me to get her and take her to first class. She was so touched. The woman gave him a big hug and said, "Never in my 94 years has someone done that for me. Thank you, young man." She had tears of gratitude. It was amazing how his thoughtful act changed the attitude of everyone on the flight. May we all look for the little things we can do to help others around us and show kindness. In this crazy world, let's all try to be the good." ❤️❤️❤️

Interesting. Desantis admitting this administration is corrupt
Governor DeSantis says the NUMBER ONE reason Republicans lost is corruption like Susie Wiles lobbying schemes, insider trading and prediction markets.
DeSantis says you are going to find out the extent of it when Democrats start investigating.
“Think about it. You show up to Congress. You've never displayed any investment acumen in your life. All of a sudden, you're meeting Warren Buffett with this suspiciously timed trade.
Oh! A company that is actually under one of your committee's jurisdictions. That is just something. And then you see all the other things. And you're going to see a lot more in the news, I think, in the next few months. And that's going to be the focal point, probably, of the Democrats' investigations and oversight.
But the reality is that was the number one issue that voters thought was important. It was even more important, if you look at the polling, than economy. And that was very high, too. And then it was just general lack of confidence in Republicans beyond that.
I get elected to Congress in 2012, sold the stocks. I’ve never traded a stock in elected office. Why? Because I don't want to be in a situation where I do something and then, oh, you did this and you voted this way, you did that. I’ve never done it.
I declined the pension as a member of Congress and the health care. In governor, we've increased pay for state employees a bunch of times. I never took it for governor. My salary is the same as it was there.
The idea that public service is a way to leverage power to enrich yourself was anathema to what our founders believed.
And so I've tried to lead by example with how I behave. But what you're seeing in Washington is clearly not consistent with what our founders believe was necessary to kind of create a foundation for a successful republic. So I think we should ban the congressional stock trading.
You should not allow them to be making money on prediction markets. You should not be able to allow the way the lobbyists and everything happens. So there's definitely things that need to be cleaned up.
Republicans should be leading this. Weren't we the ones saying, drain the swamp not a few years ago? And yet the Democrats now are able to take that and they're making hay out of it. But that was a big issue.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.”
Wise words from a Fox Business Consultant.
Interesting anecdote: Someone I know met w Trump recently before the midterms and came away bewildered; he spoke a lot about the ballroom not a lot about stuff that matters. Is he losing it? People I know who know him say he’s a ball of fire, endless energy and is still sharp mentally. But he still might be losing it in this sense: He has no feel for what animates most voters. He is clueless about their real concerns and the concerns of most people outside his base who dont get off attending one of his rallies. It’s sad because he did a lot of great stuff IMHO; closed the border, ended the noxious cult of DEI. He made sure crypto wasn’t a target of endless lawfare; he cut taxes and regulations. Yet he’s losing his feel for what people care about. It was evident in small ways early on particularly when it came to the no win push for tariffs after being elected to make life more affordable for average people and then never fully reversing course. We have a strong economy according to top line numbers as we saw today. But an average people continue to get hosed not just at the pump but when they buy anything. Ditto for small businesses. And Trump never saw it coming

I spent two years working with Stephen Miller.
His appointment as White House chief of staff is among the most dangerous personnel decisions in the history of our republic.
I say that without reservation.

Stephen Miller may have his share of fine qualities, but he’s a shameless liar and a vicious demagogue, and he will aggravate Trump’s worst impulses.

Can i take this to mean that over 75% of Americans are in the right or left leaning moderate arena than either MAGA or progressive socialist??? I hope so.
Sooo true. It wasn’t just gas prices. Many had corruption as their #1 issue.

Again “corruption”
🚨 Everyone Wants a Postmortem After Tuesday Night….. Nikki Haley Just Delivered First One Worth Hearing. 👀
A lot of the conversation right now is about who to blame for Tuesday’s results.
@NikkiHaley isn’t buying the usual list.
Her message was simple: stop blaming everyone else.
Americans were talking about groceries, gas prices, and health care costs.
Washington was focused on spending, political fights, and its own priorities.
She also said something that stood out:
“I don’t think the other side won.
Republicans lost this race themselves.”
That’s a useful distinction.
Voters can reject one group’s performance without signing up for everything the other side believes.
I’ve worked in politics on both sides, and one thing that holds up is that winning an election and understanding why you won are two different things.
Haley is pushing both sides to figure that out.
What do you think?
Trump supporters, please stop saying it was just gas prices. It was the GRIFT and corruption. Trump made almost $3 billions dollars while in office. That is not ok.
Bless him. Wishing him a safe trip

You may not agree if you are a staunch Trump supporter, but you must see some; if not all of these were a huge turnoff to American voters. And i am NOT a Democrat or Liberal, a right leaning Independent -and not a fan of Trump.
I put together a list of everything that broke the back of Trumpism.
The gas prices.
The unsanctioned war.
The massive corruption.
The incompetence.
The tariffs.
Playing nice with Russia.
The cruelty against American citizens.
The overly aggressive deportations.
The accidental arrests of American citizens who were Hispanic.
The ballroom.
The reflecting pool that doesn’t reflect.
The Qatari 747.
The aggressive redistricting push.
The threats against our allies.
By the way, I’m scratching the tip of the iceberg.
Mulvaney pitting the blame directly on Trump
Former Trump Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney blames Trump for Republicans getting demolished in the midterms:
Fox News: "Now, who do you blame for the Republican route? Was it a rebuke of Trump and his policies?"
Mulvaney: "How could it not be? Look, the president gets credit for the wins and he takes blame for the losses. That's the way it goes. The war was his idea. The tariffs were his idea."
The day after losing America…….. this is his priority? I guess we should hope he continues his building projects? Can we give him suggestions on where we need new construction?
Ah so that’s how this works….
