I spent two years working with Stephen Miller.
His appointment as White House chief of staff is among the most dangerous personnel decisions in the history of our republic.
I say that without reservation.

Stephen Miller may have his share of fine qualities, but he’s a shameless liar and a vicious demagogue, and he will aggravate Trump’s worst impulses.

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.
Trump claims he and Bibi agreed to end the $4 billion in aid. Bibi's Finance Ministry basically responded with:
"We have zero idea what he's talking about."
It's a pathetic, desperate stunt to trick people into voting for his party. He's not ending the aid; he's just lying about it

“Even the right-leaning Tax Foundation calls the tariffs the largest U.S. tax increase as a share of GDP since 1993.”
Trump ran on cutting taxes.
But once tariffs are counted, his policies are raising taxes and costs this year for every income group except the richest 1%, per a new report from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy.
The reason: tariffs, which are largely passed on to consumers as higher prices, outweigh the tax cuts for most Americans.
Even the right-leaning Tax Foundation calls the tariffs the largest U.S. tax increase as a share of GDP since 1993.

Since Trump announced an “energy ceasefire” between Russia and Ukraine on Sunday, Russia has continued striking multiple Ukrainian energy facilities.
Here’s how Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov is explaining it:
“Trump’s proposed energy truce was not clearly defined, so it cannot be said that Russia is violating it.”

It's hard for me to believe that, at a time when the Russians continue to bring misery and destruction to the people of Ukraine, we would even consider giving them an economic lifeline by buying their diesel fuel. This has to stop.
