Adding on, from my experience being in the construction industry, building your own house is very expensive as compared to renting one. Unfortunately, this is a conversation people are not ready to hear and Willing to jump on.

Why is Marvel slowly diminishing Tony Stark's legacy after his death in the MCU? First, they showed that the holographic technology(BARF) was developed by Mysterio and later acquired by Tony. Now, in VisionQuest, they've undermined Tony's entire AI legacy, making JARVIS, FRIDAY, EDITH, Ultron and even Vision seem like they're simply built on someone else's base code. I don't mind Marvel expanding on the contributions of other brilliant minds, but they're making it look like Tony simply purchased somebody else's inventions.
