Adding on, from my experience being in the construction industry, building your own house is very expensive as compared to renting one. Unfortunately, this is a conversation people are not ready to hear and Willing to jump on.
From my calculation, owning a personal house is much more expensive than paying rent

It’s hypocrisy to block our march after allowing third term supporters – CSOs By Namo Phiri TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) has accused government of hypocrisy for discouraging a planned CSO march against the removal of presidential term limits when it had previously allowed pro-third-term youths to march to Parliament. And Chapter One Foundation (COF) Executive Director Josiah Kalala has insisted that the organisations would proceed with their diggers.news/local/2026/11/0… Read more @ Diggers.News

“Spoiled milk” is an insane phrase to use for a teammate with a career ending illness.
Draymond Green on Kristaps Porzingis: "No one’s sitting around bashing this guy or even worried about him, for that matter. In our minds, we’ve moved forward with the players that we have here... you can’t sit and worry about spoiled milk.” (Via @sam_amick)

The mobile money levy’s are so bad considering the size of the population that use mobile money as a primary transactional and money storage tool. The middle to lower class will be highly affected by this.

The only thing that would definitively put an end to the debate is if President Hakainde Hichilema publicly states that he does not support the removal of term limits as President Frederick Chiluba did in 2001. Otherwise, we keep moving. #Zambia #NoThirdTerm
Rethink the protest, third term debate is imaginary, Govt tells CSOs By Namo Phiri CHIEF Government Spokesperson Elvis Nkandu says Civil Society Organisations planning to protest against the removal of the presidential term limit should reconsider their decision. On Wednesday, a consortium of CSOs notified the Zambia Police Service of its intention to hold a peaceful procession on November 25, 2026, to oppose calls for diggers.news/local/2026/11/0… Read more @ Diggers.News

"...According to the 2026 FIC report Zambian lost over US$3 billion in illicit flows in the mining sector in 2026 alone..." Where is you get the US$3 billion figure?
Since 2001 Zambia has spent K5.7 billion on elections. According to the 2026 FIC report Zambian lost over US$3 billion in illicit flows in the mining sector in 2026 alone. According to Mwanto Kabaso Zambia would be more developed if they didn’t “waste” money on elections.

NO THIRD TERM Yesterday, I was interviewed on Diamond TV about the petition by some LAZ members to get a position from the Association on constitutiobal presidential terms limits in light of calls from some members of Parliament and some sectors of the public to remove term limits. I discussed the recommendations by previous constitutional review commissions following wide consultations with citizens across Zambia who overwhelmingly chose to maintain the the maximum of two five-year presidential terms limits. I also stated why presidential terms limits are important for the people as well as the Republican President. youtu.be/OsUtno436ag

You all tell us constantly that being a minority in this country isn’t an issue. You just have to work hard and make your way, so why would it be an issue when white people become the minority?
White people will soon be the minority in a country we built

The block is hot.
The reports by the FIC, as well as the auditor general, should culminate into investigations if misappropriation is identified. Reports are meaningless without action.
