NEW INFORMATION: Bloomington Police say this morning's shooting victims include 4 males and 3 females ranging in age from 17-27. None of the shooting victims are IU students. Six are from Indianapolis and 1 person is from Greenwood. They all told police they went to Bloomington to celebrate Halloween. Police also told us one of the shooting victims was in possession of an “AK-47 pistol.” The male subject taken into custody, running from police is an 18-year-old from Indianapolis. He is in jail facing charges of resisting law enforcement and unlawful possession of a firearm, an AR-15 style handgun. He also has a pending felony weapons charge pending in Hendricks County. I am working to confirm his name and provide more on his criminal history.
