I can’t shake the feeling that selling your high-beta tech stocks already down 40-70%, to buy low/no growth consumer names at 30-100x earnings…might not be so smart, either.

BREAKING: US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to resign from the Trump Administration to launch a bid to be the next US President, per The Independent. Rubio is reportedly one of 5 members of President Trump's current cabinet who are thought to be preparing to resign in the aftermath of the US Midterms. Vice President JD Vance is expected to be Rubio's "main rival" in the 2028 Presidential race.

I don’t know if this is consensus or not yet but midterms aren’t that big of a deal and won’t matter that much for the stock market outside of basically this week.

Good Paul Tudor Jones quote from May of 2009 (h/t to GS Tony P). Might as well be from today “These days, there are many more deep intellectuals in the business, and that, coupled with the explosion of information on the Internet, creates an illusion that there is an explanation for everything and that the primary task is simply to find that explanation... I see the younger generation hampered by the need to understand and rationalize why something should go up or down. Usually, by the time that becomes self-evident, the move is already over”

It is in many trades already worse than dotcom while the underlying earnings keep accelerating… Amazing time to be alive and not particularly logical

BofA calls Texas "the single most consequential election for [Data Centers], utilities and power this cycle." The next governor inherits a 474 GW interconnection queue, roughly 90% of it data centers and more than five times the all-time system peak. "Consensus holds that Abbott reverts to a pro data center stance after a win, and that may prove correct on rhetoric, but the audit, the CCN remands, and the legislative docket now carry institutional momentum independent of the governor. Texas remains the clearest secular demand growth story in the sector, but we would carry materially wider volatility margins for potential outcomes than the market currently reflects." - BofA
BofA's economists think "the biggest downside risks centers around data center regulation," and that it will be decided far from Washington: "Under any plausible election outcome, the President should retain the ability to veto legislation he opposes," which leaves "state and local governments, which control zoning, land use, permitting and development agreements" as "the more immediate constraint."

On days like today, it's important to zoom out. No, the AI Revolution is not "over," and the market is not "going to zero." In fact, the Nasdaq 100 is up +11% YTD and nearly +70% since its April 2025 low. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 is currently set to post a blended earnings +30.2% growth rate for Q3 2026. This puts us on track for the third-straight quarter of earnings growth above 25%. And, even after the biggest hack in crypto history, Bitcoin is down less than -5% this week. Disruptive technologies like AI will inevitably bring heightened volatility, polarized positioning, and extreme swings in market sentiment. However, do not let short-term volatility overshadow the broader picture. We are in the midst of the biggest technological revolution in history. Technical corrections are healthy, necessary, and an inevitable part of every bull market. Do not lose sight of the bigger picture.

Google misses Search & Ads revenue by ~ $1.5B. These misses will get worse. Keep in mind, Search & Ads are still the primary business. No one clicks blue links anymore. Moreover, the exponential rise in use of agentic AI poses a deeper threat: AI agents don't watch ads. $GOOGL

Slow and then all at once. Exponential adoption and now the top pick at JPM. $BTC forecasted to return 10% irr over the next decade vs a maximum of 7.7% via small caps. More than the target, seeing these banks adopt and build new products, at a multi-b scale (latest yesterday by JPM), seemed like an impossible dream even 1-2y ago. From no exposure, fighting against clarity, to adopting, building and now presenting as the top pick.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight at you, then they add you to their Long-Term Capital Markets Assumptions paper and predict you'll be the best-performing asset of the next decade.

Probably the most important chart is the BTC/NAS100 chart I talked about in the live earlier. All that cash that was rotated into the AI/Semis trade is just sitting in brokerage accounts, ready to roll. Never before in a cycle has there been a more convenient avenue for liquidity if old Bitty gets going.

This is the last critical piece of the spectrum puzzle needed for SpaceX to provide complete phone coverage in America
AT&T CEO: Starlink Mobile won’t be able to penetrate walls. SpaceX: We’ve acquired 800 MHz spectrum, which will allow Starlink Mobile to provide better indoor coverage, including signals that can penetrate walls and other obstacles. People are underestimating Starlink Mobile.

$HOOD just unveiled Robinhood Agents, built directly into the app. You can use one to research the market, build a strategy, and place trades within limits you set. Each agent only gets access to a dedicated agentic trading account, and manual trade approval is on by default. Robinhood says 150,000+ customers have already opened agentic trading accounts, with agents now using its tools nearly 30 million times a day. Coming next is “Loops,” which can keep checking the market and run a strategy automatically when certain conditions are met. Robinhood is also adding Agent Apps, so users can plug in premium data and tools from Nasdaq, Unusual Whales, SpotGamma, Quiver Quantitative, Token Terminal and others. You can also use OpenAI’s GPT-Luna for free through the end of the year.

The market salivates every single time we get a positive headline about resolving the Iran war. The *day before* the war started in February, the 10-year yield was 3.96%, and falling. We were setting up for a goldilocks environment. It's nearly 5.2% today. You'd think with all the repeated headlines and no resolution, we'd be playing "boy who cried wolf" by now, but no -- reopening the Strait of Hormuz is THAT important to near-term inflation expectations. The market is literally screaming at the top of its lungs: "END THE WAR"
