The Supreme Court of Canada has agreed to hear the federal government’s appeal of rulings that its use of the Emergencies Act was unlawful and unconstitutional.
Today’s decision allows the appeal to proceed; it does not overturn those rulings.

Tesla has officially confirmed today that the Tesla board of directors has “formed a special committee to explore deepening Tesla’s relationship with @SpaceX, which could be through certain arrangements including without limitation a business combination.”
This is via Tesla’s new 10-Q filing with the SEC.
NEWS: Tesla's new patent application describes a truck suspension that can kneel, tilt, or level itself at the tap of a button.
Details:
• Ramp mode drops the back and lifts the front, so the bed tilts toward the ground. A motorcycle or ATV can roll up a ramp without scraping. The example: front up 80 mm, rear down 70 mm.
• Dump mode lowers all four corners so you can reach into the bed and unload more easily.
• Level mode sets each wheel's height on its own, so the truck sits flat on uneven ground. Tesla calls out camping and tailgating.
• You pick the mode on the car's screen or in a phone app.
• Safety checks come first: the system can refuse to change modes based on speed or on whether a door or tailgate is open.
• Why it matters: tilting the bed cuts the ramp's breakover angle from about 45-55 degrees to about 20-30, so a shorter ramp works.

In plain English: air suspension already lets a truck rise and drop. Tesla's idea is to control each wheel on its own and package the moves as named modes. Ramp mode tilts the bed down at the back so loading a bike or ATV is easier. Dump mode squats the whole truck so the bed is easy to reach. Level mode evens out the truck on a slope for camping. Before it moves, the system checks things like speed and whether the tailgate is open, and it can fine-tune each corner based on load or ground readings. The filing traces back to a Nov. 2019 provisional.
