AIPAC spent more money against him than it has ever spent against anyone because he’s going to be in the Senate the next 40 years if he wants and he’s their worst nightmare
I believe in a world where a Palestinian child and a Jewish Israeli child growing up in the Holy Land can look forward at their life and believe it is not going to be curtailed by somebody's violence.

PREDICTION: Ukraine is going to come under intense pressure to surrender over the next two months. Ukrainian intelligence believes fascist Russia’s dictator Putin has stockpiled enough ballistic missiles and other strategic weapons for a campaign to destroy Ukraine’s energy and water infrastructure over the winter. The aim is to make major Ukrainian cities unlivable in the winter months, and provoke a mass refugee crisis from Ukraine into Europe that will further destabilize the political situation in the EU. Why over the next two months? For these three main reasons: 1. The next U.S. Congress sits in early January 2027. The Democrats will then have majorities in the Senate and House, and thereafter Trump’s administration could well be seriously constrained. Before that, however, there are two months left for the Trump administration to provide useful aid to the Kremlin. That includes withholding Patriot system interceptors, which will make Ukraine more vulnerable to missile attacks. 2. With key EU member states heading into critical electoral cycles in early 2027, political leaders in Western Europe will be under immense pressure to prioritize domestic economic demands over underwriting Ukraine’s defense and state budget, leaving Kyiv facing a catastrophic funding shortfall just as its winter needs reach their peak. 3. Ukraine's rapidly maturing deep-strike campaign – which has systematically taken offline nearly a third of Russia's refining capacity while striking missile propellant plants and airfields deep inside the Russian interior – is inflicting severe domestic economic and operational costs on Moscow. The Kremlin calculates that its narrow window to force a Ukrainian capitulation is now in the next few months, before Kyiv’s expanding domestic long-range missile and drone capabilities permanently erode Russia's own industrial stability and home-front security. This upcoming period will thus be an intense attritional race between Putin's attempt to weaponize winter and Western flaccidity, and the West's ability to sustain Kyiv until these fleeting strategic windows close.

Unfortunately the audit logs from 2011-2022 for all maternity cases have now also been “accidentally” deleted so there I’ll be no justice for that either for Nottingham maternity families

This is a horrendous miscarriage of justice, indeed there was no attempt to be just. This injunction should be lifted.
On Thursday I wrote about the 2014 injunction Russell Brand obtained against a woman who accused him of assault. I've now obtained the final order. It's breathtaking. She had no lawyer. No trial. Yet she was silenced for life - even barred from speaking to the police. 🧵:

The part of the Russell Brand reporting that I keep thinking about is where a taxi driver begs the girl he's driving not to go to his house. This ordinary powerless bloke who both knew and tried to stop it, while television executives covered for him.

Israel has brainwashed you into believing that Palestine with zero fighter jets, zero helicopters, zero tanks, and zero soldiers are oppressing a nuclear superpower with 75-400 nuclear warheads, over 340 fighter jets, 130 helicopters, 1,500 tanks, and 650,000 soldiers. Stop calling it a war. Israel is not fighting an army; it is fighting defenseless civilians—women, children, and elderly. Call it what it is: GENOCIDE

Very important thread on an anti-harassment injunction granted to Russell Brand (and then girlfriend Jemima Khan) of breathtaking scope which once again threatened free press reporting and the rights of a victim claiming sexual assault. Do read the thread and great work, Dan!

Why is there simply no pressure on the Israelis to facilitate humanitarian relief in Gaza?

💥Hours before Gadi Eisenkot is expected to get the nod, Netanyahu posts a video, apparently new, in which he seems genuinely panicked, calls on his supporters to stop the formation of any new government by any means necessary, and threatens violence. For 11 days, no one has seen this man in public.

Amazing how many folks don’t understand the message the country is sending. Double down and watch Dems sweep the three GOV races in KY, LA and MS in 2027.
Everyone in the White House keeps texting me: ‘It’s Miller Time’ with excited anticipation. It’s like the dogs have been let off the chain. Good people on the inside are hyped.

"We don't know who deleted the data, we know it was intentional, but we're satisfied it has nothing to do with corrupt management". Uh, how?
Files relating to child, neonatal & maternal deaths at @nottmhospitals was "intentionally/maliciously" deleted by someone who can't be identified. A reminder, if needed, that not everyone in the NHS acts in patients interests & underlines why the scandal needed exposing:

Watching the vote margin grow for Scott Colom by the hour has me thinking of Emmett Till, Medgar Evers, Myrlie Evers-Williams, Amzie Moore, Fannie Lou Hammer, Bob Moses and so many others. When they call it there will be a shout of joy from Heaven and from Earth.

Y’all need to stop trying to turn this Hakeem Jeffries situation into a race issue. For many of us, it’s about his unwavering support for Israel while our tax dollars fund what we believe is genocide. And you conveniently leave out that we don’t want Chuck Schumer either. Schumer isn’t Black. The opposition is for the same reason. It’s about policy, not race.

Annie Andrews is explicitly condemning the starvation of Gaza. Turek, Hamilton, and Talarico support an arms embargo on Israel. Abdul is, well, Abdul. Scott Colom in deep red Mississippi is boasting about not taking a dime from AIPAC. Troy Jackson called it a genocide. A wine mom in Tennessee ran on Medicare for all and ending the genocide in Gaza and won in a Trump +24 district. The era of Democrats being blindly pro Israel is OVER. The average Democrat thinks Israel is as bad as Russia.
I want to keep emphasizing that I think Abdul El Sayed was a bad candidate but I wonder if he helped win some senate seats by absorbing all the AIPAC money that would have otherwise gone to beating Israel-skeptical candidates in South Carolina and Mississippi

Not to be dramatic, but the fact that the provisional affidavit ballots are skewing so heavily for Scott Colom is another heartbreaking reminder of the deep racist institutional rot in Mississippi
