14. An apparently fraudulent election in Brazil where the presumed presidential election winner was forced to flee the country under threat of arrest by his opponent.
15. The uncovering of a Color Revolution plot in the USA led by embittered former USAID employees and ex-military members.
That’s a lot to be happening all at once, don’t you think?
And the USA is having midterm elections next week.
You know, if I was a conspiracy-minded type I might be connecting some dots here. 🧐

This is why you don’t give visas to or naturalize people like this to become citizens. They are literally enemies from within now. And America welcomed that.

Instead of giving welfare to immigrants, we should spend the money on giving cats the finest beauty treatments on offer.

You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland).
You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission.

A popular republic coming undone due to the unbounded passion for equality? If only people had predicted that.
What feels like a big shift in liberalism in my lifetime -- maybe it's always been this way? -- is the progression from, "we should help the people at the bottom" to "every single person deserves the same as anybody else." I'm enough of a bleeding heart for the first thing, but the second thing is absurd.

Mysterious ways.
@DataRepublican told me I could use the Census Bureau to geolocate addresses. So I built that. Then she went and worked on her super secret DOGE-at-the-Pentagon job and went quiet. Then Nick Shirley. While she was quiet, I started ingesting the Medicaid and DOT data, and geolocating it. You can see the results here. grumpytechbro.com/fun/ I did the 990 addresses too.
The Chinese Progressive Association, the Center for Empowered Politics, and the CEP Education Fund share a building. From 2020 through 2022 they are the only three filers on one San Francisco pin. In 2023 and 2024 they move to Oakland together.
New Venture Fund, Sixteen Thirty Fund, Hopewell Fund, Windward Fund, and the North Fund share one Washington pin. The names do not mention each other.
Different paperwork, same door. Legally different people. Yeah, right.
That is not even counting the nonprofit c3 with the political c4. That is just how the NGO world works, because a political c4 has to pay taxes, so you park the $ in the c3.
I wouldn't have built the Sankey that helped connect me with Data if my mom wasn't in the hospital. I wouldn't have had this much time obsessing on the geolocation if Data hadn't gotten sucked into the DoW. Now I have a big pile of geolocated orgs I'm using to chase down fraud.

Rest in peace, Sir Patrick Stewart, who passed away today at the age of 86. Perhaps best known for his iconic role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Stewart spent the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown sharing videos of himself reading Shakespeare’s sonnets. Notably, he was once joined by his neighbor’s cat Glenn who appeared unimpressed by Sonnet 40.

UC Berkeley is effectively a paper mill for the Left to generate bespoke "research" ahead of any CA union-written ballot measure vote
It started with the Center on Wage and Employment Dynamics (run by the Marxist co-founder of the Union for Radical Political Economics) churning out minimum wage “research” to order
This model has now been duplicated by Saez & Zucman at the Stone Center

The Economist had to use a log scale to make the Afghan rate look less horrific.
Immigrants should average radically lower rape rates than natives because you are stuck with your fellow natives, but you really ought to be able to select non-rapist immigrants.

They're doing it live in front of the world.

funny how they had to use a logarithmic scale to make it look like afghans, middle easterners, and africans rape less than they do

Stopping Muslim rioters from looting French stores is the new genocide
A French school student accuses the French police of committing genocide against children protesting in the streets against the oppressive and violent education system.
According to him, every attempt by the police and security forces to suppress the “peaceful” protest and stop the students before they burn, loot, or vandalize the streets stems from institutional racism created by Israel through training France’s security forces and police.
What is your response to him?
Is he a genocide survivor?
