There’s dignity in hard work. Don’t let pressure blind you. Appreciate what you have, take it slow, and never let government officials use you for their cocaine business.
Probably and possibly one of the best speeches of all time. 😍
Mohammed Qahtani, a Saudi Arabian engineer, won the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking.
In his winning speech, he highlighted the power of words, stating that they can be a source of strength.

🇮🇹♻️ What Ghanaian cities can learn from Italy about waste management
Walking through cities in Italy, one thing becomes clear: effective waste management does not happen by chance. It is the result of deliberate planning, clear systems, public education, enforcement, and active participation from citizens and local authorities.
For Ghana, this should be a call to action. Our cities need intentional and sustainable waste-management measures that protect our environment, preserve our rivers and waterways, safeguard our ecosystems, and create healthier communities for generations to come.
Waste separation, efficient collection systems, recycling, responsible disposal, enforcement of environmental regulations, and continuous public education must become an integral part of urban planning—not an afterthought.
🌍 A clean city is not simply about appearance; it is about environmental protection, public health, dignity, and respect for the ecosystems that sustain us.
There is much to learn, adapt, and implement. Ghanaian cities can develop systems suited to our own realities while drawing lessons from successful practices elsewhere.
The time for deliberate action is now. 🇬🇭♻️🌱

Day 1 in Italy 🇮🇹, and Bologna is already teaching us something powerful about cleanliness.
It’s not just that the streets are clean — it’s the deliberate action behind keeping them clean. The systems, the discipline, the small everyday choices, and the collective responsibility all add up.
This is exactly the kind of culture Buzstopboys wants to see in Ghana 🇬🇭 — where keeping our streets, communities, and public spaces clean becomes a shared responsibility, not an afterthought.
Clean cities don’t happen by accident. They happen when people decide that their environment matters. 🧹🌍
Bologna reminds us: cleanliness is a culture, and culture starts with deliberate action.
Ghana, this is possible for us too. 🇬🇭❤️

I don’t go searching for Eric’s videos except the ones I see on the TL…
But I think of all of his videos I have ever come across, this is the most profound.
This just taught me a very very valuable life lesson I wasn’t used to.
Thank you @eric_gugua

Make all the arguments of taxes & government policy but flight ticket prices in Ghana will never make sense to me.
Tell me why you can fly from Joburg to Cape Town, a distance of 1,400km with $75
But one way from Kumasi to Accra of just 240km is averagely $250.
Perhaps low competition is the only plausible explanation. Flights on this route are always full but market is so tight.
Abnormal scenario if you ask me
