I always look at Darth Vader’s funeral as one of the most poignant Star Wars moments
Cause the loneliness of it also acknowledges the many sins Anakin committed through his life as a Sith
Even though he was pivotal in the rebellion’s victory, the Galaxy will forever hate and fear him
Like, Yoda, and Obi-wan are the only ones who will ever truly forgive him, and he’ll never again be hailed as the hero he wanted to be
But at the end of the day, he still chose the Jedi way in death, and so he gets that treatment for his funeral
