ONE MILLION SIGNATURES. A PAID PETITION ORGANIZER. AND A WHOLE LOT OF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS. Before anyone celebrates a petition to oust Hakeem Jeffries, let’s remember something: Under Jeffries’ leadership, Democrats just delivered a HISTORIC BLUE TSUNAMI, with projections of a House majority approaching 80 seats. The leader who helped engineer that victory deserves the opportunity to lead that majority and turn it into real results on AFFORDABILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY. Now, about that petition. It was launched SEPTEMBER 3—two months BEFORE Democrats’ historic midterm victories. Its creator, Nicole Whitted, is a PAID petition Ambassador. The platform advertises compensation tied to petition performance, including upfront payments and revenue associated with signatures. Its advertised figures of 30–50¢ per signature would translate to $300,000–$500,000 across ONE MILLION signatures. But that’s potential platform revenue, NOT verified compensation to Whitted. We don’t know how much is eligible, how that revenue is distributed, or how much she personally receives. And those ONE MILLION signatures? How many are registered Democrats? How many live in Democratic congressional districts? Who verified their political affiliations? A petition is NOT a poll. Signatures are NOT votes. And a million clicks are NOT a mandate from Democratic voters. We fought for this majority. We earned this opportunity. Now it’s time to turn that BLUE TSUNAMI into meaningful change. Before demanding accountability from Jeffries, let’s demand TRANSPARENCY from those demanding his removal.
🚨 BREAKING | More than 1 million people have signed the petition calling on House Democrats to reject Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker.

When progressives want to claim that winning politicians are really progressive not moderate, what they do is pick out a handful of progressive stances the candidate took. But then after the election, progressives act as ruthless enforcers of a totalizing orthodoxy.

Yall can't have it both ways. Its consistent bashing of Kamala and Hilary and Obama and the establishment until your fave candidate, El-Sayed, needs help and calls Kamala and Obama. Its "Kamala's irrelevant" then also whining about how she didn't go to Florida to help Nixon?

I'm seeing Mark Ruffalo promoting a petition to block Hakeem Jeffries from becoming the next Speaker of the House, while Hasan Piker, Mehdi Hasan, George Conway, Ron Filipkowski and others are criticizing his remarks on Morning Joe yesterday. So I have to ask: Did they actually watch his FULL interview? 🔵 Jeffries didn't dismiss accountability. He explicitly DEMANDED it. 🔵 He clearly connected Trump's corruption to the affordability crisis. 🔵 He explained how Trump's war in Iran contributed to higher gas, diesel, fertilizer and grocery costs. 🔵 And he promised congressional oversight guided by facts, law and the Constitution. 🔵 And he made the distinction between ACCOUNTABILITY and RETRIBUTION. That distinction matters. Democrats didn't just win an election. They made promises to millions of Americans struggling to afford groceries, housing, healthcare and basic necessities. Now is the time to unify and deliver, not for ignorant divisiveness that weakens our collective power. LET'S BE CLEAR: Delivering does NOT mean giving Trump or anyone else a free pass. Jeffries was beyond clear about the below ⤵ ‣ Investigate corruption. ‣ Follow the money. ‣ Issue subpoenas. ‣ Hold wrongdoers accountable. ‣ And if the evidence supports impeachment, pursue it. But making impeachment the opening act before the new Congress even convenes? That's not a substitute for governing. Jeffries understands that Democrats have to do BOTH. Criticism is healthy. Holding leadership accountable is essential. But there's a difference between demanding results and undermining a prospective Speaker before he's had the opportunity to deliver. #AffordabilityAndAccountability pave the path to the future we're all fighting for. Not retribution. Not political theater. Listen to what Jeffries is actually saying before attacking him. And watch the FULL FUCKING interview ⤵ before yapping your fucking traps! realclearpolitics.com/video/…

Schumer and Jeffries presided over one of the greatest Democrat electoral victories in living memory. The only people who would be this rabid about their removal are those who are threatened by Democrats being successful.
SCHUMER AND JEFFRIES MUST GO. WITH THEM IN CHARGE WHAT MUST BE DONE WILL NOT BE DONE. THEY'RE COMPROMISED.

This guy literally owns the company that printed business cards, signs, and mailers for Dan Sullivan.
A look of utter PANIC overtakes a Republican voter in Anchorage, Alaska, as he realizes that he may have voted for the wrong Dan Sullivan. Democrats and their media allies insist there is no confusion among voters. That’s just not true. Watch this man’s facial expressions closely as it sets in that he may have cast his ballot for the spoiler candidate. ALASKA VOTER: “I don’t remember seeing the other Dan Sullivan.” “I totally forgot to look if there was two Dan Sullivans.” NEWSNATION: “The two were together on the ballot.” That’s when it starts to sink in. ALASKA VOTER: “Yeah….” NEWSNATION: “You didn’t notice that?” ALASKA VOTER: “I just…I might be just having a brain freeze. But I don’t remember the second Dan Sullivan.” How many others may have voted for the spoiler?

It's really incredible the way Republicans can manipulate the media into talking about whatever they want. This Alaska story is the only thing most outlets want to ask me about this week, even though it's complete nonsense. Republicans are terrified to talk about any issue that has a material impact on people's lives. The economy, Trump's corruption, the war in Iran, healthcare — they don't want to talk about any of it. None of this shit's going to work, either. It's just embarrassing for everybody involved.

I've knocked on thousands of doors over the years. Thousands for myself as a candidate, and thousands for candidates at every level - from Obama in 2007 to state and local candidates - as well as issue campaigns. As a candidate, I kept each interaction under a minute. When I was an Obama Organizing Fellow in 2007, I spent several minutes with everyone I made contact with. Voter contact comes in many forms, each with its own purpose, approach, and time commitment. But whether you're doing persuasion, deep canvassing, or 15-second GOTV rapid contacts, it's always going to require a greater investment of time and energy - and deliver infinitely more value - than sitting on your bitter, lazy ass firing off a snarky tweet just because you don't like the people actually putting in the work. Thank you to @DigitalGroundG and every one of their volunteers for putting in the work.
This event was focused on "deep canvassing", which aims to get longer interactions with voters. You knock less doors because there is more training and more time talking to voters. Contact rate was also 19%. Don't listen to keyboard warriors about organizing!

This is the cheating we have been raising concerns about. A weaponized DOJ to help the GOP win elections. The only thing that will beat them is a massive vote against them.
