Good backs don’t fix bad run blocking OLs.
Bad backs are made good by good run blocking OLs.
Great backs make good run blocking OLs look great.
Welcome to the paradox of evaluating the running back position. A highly dependent position that needs a solid baseline to function.

Incoming Speaker of the House Hakeem Jeffries is a "hard yes" to impeach War Criminal Pete Hegseth.

ONE MILLION SIGNATURES. A PAID PETITION ORGANIZER. AND A WHOLE LOT OF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS.
Before anyone celebrates a petition to oust Hakeem Jeffries, let’s remember something:
Under Jeffries’ leadership, Democrats just delivered a HISTORIC BLUE TSUNAMI, with projections of a House majority approaching 80 seats. The leader who helped engineer that victory deserves the opportunity to lead that majority and turn it into real results on AFFORDABILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY.
Now, about that petition.
It was launched SEPTEMBER 3—two months BEFORE Democrats’ historic midterm victories.
Its creator, Nicole Whitted, is a PAID petition Ambassador. The platform advertises compensation tied to petition performance, including upfront payments and revenue associated with signatures.
Its advertised figures of 30–50¢ per signature would translate to $300,000–$500,000 across ONE MILLION signatures. But that’s potential platform revenue, NOT verified compensation to Whitted. We don’t know how much is eligible, how that revenue is distributed, or how much she personally receives.
And those ONE MILLION signatures? How many are registered Democrats? How many live in Democratic congressional districts? Who verified their political affiliations?
A petition is NOT a poll. Signatures are NOT votes. And a million clicks are NOT a mandate from Democratic voters.
We fought for this majority. We earned this opportunity. Now it’s time to turn that BLUE TSUNAMI into meaningful change.
Before demanding accountability from Jeffries, let’s demand TRANSPARENCY from those demanding his removal.

Leader @HakeemJeffries announces Democrats’ agenda starting on Day One:

—Reverse Trump’s Medicaid cuts
—Reverse Trump’s SNAP cuts
—End the Trump tariffs to lower prices
—Extend the ACA tax credits to lower health care costs

Honestly, I don’t think that is the best position for her. AOC is charismatic and is principled, however she is better as an insider-outsider. She should be free to whip up public sentiment to push the party instead of working privately to push out a party message.

This is the first time in my lifetime that the state is in lock step to budget past a fiscal year. And return pensions back to our teachers as an incentive to stay in AK.
We are going to get responsible resource development. Shutter Oil corpo tax loopholes. All that is massive.

I appreciate you recognizing that this stems from your own personal anxieties.
The meaningful gains at the state level for democrats is going to be the biggest impact on people’s lives. For instance, AK state leg and governor flip blue. We are going to get school funding back.

This services and empowers policy wonks like Warren to have a whole apparatus to explain how a policy works and the benefits for the American people from it.
Oversight committees can have a secondary media pressure source.
And leadership gets a little national heat off them.

The media has failed to manufacture an environment where Democrats can take control of a narrative effectively, so why not have a full time party committee dedicated solely to message. Someone like Pete would be ideal for that position.

Much of the complaints by well meaning liberals can be boiled down to them not feeling inspired by the way either Schumer or Jeffries. You’ve pointed out that these leadership roles dilute ideology in order to govern a coalition. My solution is the party needs a press secretary.

When progressives want to claim that winning politicians are really progressive not moderate, what they do is pick out a handful of progressive stances the candidate took.
But then after the election, progressives act as ruthless enforcers of a totalizing orthodoxy.

What? Lefties lying about publicly available information?

Exactly. It is all word and timing games.
The other piece they are ignoring is Schumer directing DSCC funds to Hamilton, Colom, Jackson, El-Sayed, Talarico Ossoff, Pappas, Cooper, Brown, Peltola, Turek and Davis.
Along with Schumer directing aligned PACs to those candidates.
Replying to @BlueJayvideos
This is just semantic games.
Schumer and the DSCC recruited Brown, Cooper, Peltola, and Turek. Along with those four Schumer also financially supported Hamilton, Colom, Jackson, El-Sayed, Talarico Ossoff, Pappas, and Davis.

Yall can't have it both ways.
Its consistent bashing of Kamala and Hilary and Obama and the establishment until your fave candidate, El-Sayed, needs help and calls Kamala and Obama.
Its "Kamala's irrelevant" then also whining about how she didn't go to Florida to help Nixon?

Correct.
If neither get 50% Dan J should be eliminated first. Roughly 29% of Dan J voters ranked Peltola second. And Dan S around 12%.
