When Trump supporters say that God sent Donald Trump to govern the United States, I recall Hosea: "I gave thee a king in mine anger" - 50-50 rulers of Israel mentioned in the Bible are sent as afflictions and punishments for doing evil in the sight of the Lord.

Who benefits from Trump's go-to tax dodge, which involves donating development rights to golf courses, then claiming big writeoffs?
One winner is Frank Bisignano, CEO of the IRS, who happens to own a house on one of Trump's newly preserved golf clubs.
A corrupt Trump administration has maliciously refused the courageous people of Ukraine the tools they need for self-defense.

JUST IN: The US still has an inflation problem and it's getting worse again.
PCE Inflation rose to 3.6% in September. That's the highest since May.
Core PCE Inflation (excludes food and energy) ticked up to 3.1%. That's also the highest since May.
Bottom line: Inflation is back near a 3-year high. It's largely due to war in Iran, but there's legitimate concern that inflation is spreading beyond energy.

This is a must-read. Russia subjected the inhabitants of Oleskhy to “an artificially created hell.”
Now it will use them to stage a humanitarian spectacle and whitewash the egregious crimes detailed here.
American media should not be complicit.

So quite possibly, Google AI mode is only giving this bullshit about the 2020 election in the US. Which speaks to political pressure, direct or indirect. The actual greatest AI threat of all.
(Note that using Gemini directly doesn't seem to have this problem. Only accessing it from the Google search results.)

I found this chain of replies quite interesting. If the pattern is more than chance, it's further grist for your mill.

Just had a long conversation with Gemini, and it says Trump achieved this by flooding the internet with lies. So, I guess, be wary all responses from Google's AI about anything MAGA lies about programatically?

Google and the Trump administration have just recreated an American version of a notorious aspect of Soviet life. americanheritage.com/untitle… As a Soviet joke had it: "The future is certain, only the past is unpredictable."

Google has specifically prevented its AI tool from telling users who won the 2020 presidential election, even though it happily tells us that Trump won in 2016 and 2024. This sort of political intervention into LLM responses is deeply problematic. (h/t to Charles Mann)
Senator Slotkin, I agree. But if you believe the ad is antisemitic then you agree that @AbdulElSayed is antisemitic. The message of the ad has been a core El-Sayed theme throughout his campaign. This is El-Sayed in his own words:
“We’re paying $5 gas. We’re paying more for groceries because of a war we should not be fighting at the behest of whom? The government of Israel.”
OR
“Israel is an affordability issue. Every time you want to put glasses on kids’ faces or give people healthcare or fix a school, somebody pops up and is like, Well, how are you going to pay for that? I don’t know. Maybe we should keep our money here instead of sending it there to drop bombs on people’s schools or their hospitals. That’s our money. You just saw $3.3 billion voted to send abroad to a foreign government that, by the way, has guaranteed healthcare and can guarantee college education without debt. We can’t. And you want to send my money over there? That’s insane.”
I can keep providing examples. There’s so much material as @AbdulElSayed has been hammering this point incessantly.
