Do you want to know the definition of a great baseball teammate? Watch this video 👇👇👇 Sal Frelick reminds us that it’s not always about YOU. It’s about recognizing, celebrating, and appreciating the outstanding performance of your teammates. Great teammates celebrate other’s success as much as their own.
A masterclass in mental toughness from Cooper Pratt Missed his pitch? “Relax. Breathe.” Made an error? “Mistakes happen. Let it go. Focus on the next pitch.” He understands something every young player needs to learn: You can’t change the last play. You can control the next one. Coaches, how are you teaching your players to FLUSH IT?

A lot of good can come from this video ‼️ Today I see so many young players take reps or play like they’ve already made it. Like they deserve to not play the game the right way. Not laying out for baseballs. Not running hard out of the box etc. Here is the 23 year super star Junior Caminero taking defensive reps like this right before the World Series starts. 👀

NLCS MVP Jake Bauers shares how letting go of results helped him find a different level of freedom as a competitor. "I think what changed for me this year was I stopped caring about results. I started caring about competing. I started caring about being in the moment and getting out of my own way." Sometimes, the biggest obstacle to performing at your best isn't a lack of preparation or ability. It's the pressure you place on yourself to produce a particular outcome. You become so concerned with what you want to happen that you lose touch with what the moment actually requires. Any performer can unlock a new level when they learn how to be fully invested in the competition without becoming imprisoned by the outcome. 🎥: Fox Sports

Nameless, faceless opponents. Don’t give your opponent too much respect. Just compete with all you got against the game itself.

Awesome take. Consistency has to be celebrated. It all works out in the end.
Somewhere this morning, there's a high school baseball player getting ready for school. He's checked his phone a hundred times this week, hoping a college coach might reach out. Nothing. No offers. No big recruiting headlines. No guarantees that any of this will work out. But after school today, he'll head right back to the cage, the weight room, or the field. Because he still believes. And maybe that's the part of this game we don't celebrate enough. The kids who keep showing up when the world hasn't given them a single reason to believe they're next. If that's you, keep going. Your story is still being written. ⚾️

Two years ago, Jake Bauers told his agent he was retiring. His wife would return to teaching while he stayed home with their child Three days later, she told him she was pregnant. He returned to baseball to feed his family and for the health insurance. Last night, he hit the go-ahead home run in the NLCS His dad Stu has worn his t-shirt the last four Brewers games. They are 4-0. It hasn’t been washed yet

Ouch. Humble pie.
Cam Schlittler said Tropicana Field felt like a Yankees home game because the Rays don't have fans...  Fast forward to tonight: • 4.1 IP • 7 H • 2 K • Had to stop play multiple times because the crowd was too loud for his PitchCom. Life comes at you fast.

Tampa Bay Rays hitters had the lowest strikeout rate in MLB this year. And against Cam Schlittler, who's winning the American League Cy Young, they punched out just two times -- the lowest total in any of Schlittler's 35 starts this season. Schlittler is done. Yankees trail, 3-1.

Players You have to hit everyday outside of the lesson environment. Yes everyday. Lessons are great but if you are only getting swings at lessons and not on your own. Your parents are wasting money.
