I'm often thinking
About the dichotomy
Between us sweetie
You're so silent
I'm so talkative
The fluidity of
Speaking rapidly
Over the silver blooms
Of my anxiety
I should start poetry of Perseverence
As soon as I can

Travel, and the word she wanted was おつかれさま — you must be tired.
Not a question. At six the whole office says it, and means: today cost you something, and I saw it.
English asks how are you and expects fine.
Her father worked thirty years. Nobody said it to him. #vss365
I'm an introvert and that made customer service a challenge for me.

Hunt me after midnight,
when I would be at my weakest,
Kill me when you hunt me,
or I will chase you till your end.
Consider me unhinged,
or a man with a focused drive,
but when I set my sights on anything,
I will not stop till I see its dawn.
I place myself in a knight's shoes,
when I have to defend my position,
I will travel to the end of the world,
just to see you stutter and fail.
Nothing would make my pumpkins glow,
except for seeing my enemies fail,
You can come for me any time you want,
I will be right here - Waiting.

My mother was a private woman. Low-profile, she rarely left the house while her children were small. My dad, on the other hand, was a town fixture—out walking miles, always stopping to talk to someone.
One day, a woman came by looking for my mom. She told her my dad had been seen with someone at a bar.
"You don't say?" my mom asked. "What did she look like?"
"They said she was big-boned, fair-skinned, with dark hair and blue eyes."
"You mean, like me?"
"I guess so. He must have a type."
My mom thanked her, went back inside, and told my dad.
"So... you went out with a looker last night."
"I sure did."
My mom went back to the kitchen, chuckling. Outside, the town kept talking about my dad, and wondering who the woman was almost no one could name.
