The one redeeming quality Mark Carney has is that he eventually listens to @PierrePoilievre under enough public pressure. On the carbon tax, on pipelines, on gas taxes, Poilievre has been exactly right since he became Conservative leader. Carney has slowly and begrudgingly adapted several of his policies, and Canada is much better off for it. Poilievre has been tremendously effective as opposition leader. I can think of very few examples of a government that so frequently abandoned long-held beliefs and principles at the urging of the opposition -- especially one that has a majority government. If Poilievre has been able to accomplish all this as opposition leader, imagine what he can do as Prime Minister?
Conservatives have again won you savings at the pump. Our pressure forced Liberals to back down and delay their Labour Day gas tax hike into the new year. It pays to have Conservatives fighting for you. But Canadians need more than a delay and a partial break. Take ALL taxes off gas to save up to 25¢/L and give real relief to Canadian families now: conservative.ca/cpc/zero-tax…

Great ad. BC is ready for change — good luck to all my friends working to elect a BC Conservative government tomorrow!
BC has been waiting long enough. Tomorrow, vote for change. Vote Conservative.

The Conservatives are very lucky to have @MichelleRempel leading the charge on this file. I’ve always said immigration was our superpower. Canada has everything to offer the best and brightest around the world. Unfortunately the past 11 years have been a nightmare. An immigration system which once made us immensely proud has been perverted and used to make our country weaker. Instead of bringing in the best from around the world, we’ve brought in low wage workers to put Canadian youth and seniors out of jobs. Instead of bringing in those who share our values and vision for Canada, we’ve imported foreign conflict and division. Instead of a system based on rules and order where we reward those seeking legal immigration, we’ve opened the floodgates to scam immigration consultants who profit by cheating the system. Our system no longer works for Canada or those who seek to call Canada home. Drastic change is needed. And I’m grateful to have @MichelleRempel leading the charge.
This morning myself and @bradredekopp unrolled the Conservative Party’s position on immigration levels ahead of the Liberal’s release of the immigration levels plan. Immigration levels must go way down, not up. Here's why.

Mark Sutcliffe might now be the most YIMBY mayor in Canada After three years of giving him grief, he and his team did a complete 180 on housing. They've made tremendous progress in the past year. I am excited to see what a second term brings if he is re-elected next week.
Ottawa’s housing starts are up 14% so far in 2026 compared to the same period last year, building on a 38% increase in 2025. We’re making real progress at a time when housing starts are down 5% across Ontario and 4% nationally. The city has approved 75,000 homes in the past 4 years, and I’ll advance another 75,000 before 2030. We’re approving homes faster and creating more opportunities to build in Ottawa. Let’s keep moving forward on housing, together. marksutcliffe.ca/priorities/…

Winning campaigns don't do this. Polls show Bradford with a narrow lead in the final week of the campaign. The Chow campaign is extraordinarily desperate. But still, lying to people is never a good campaign strategy.
Brad Bradford wants to hand over our drinking water to Doug Ford — so it can be privatized. This isn’t for you, it’s for Brad’s investor friends. This will drive up your water bill and make our drinking water less safe. I will never privatize our water.

A really fascinating study in how AI content is affecting how people perceive all content. This video was produced by one of the top creative agencies in the country, led by @DennisJMatthews, for the Brad Bradford campaign for mayor of Toronto. Because it is professionally filmed on high quality equipment and well lit, the comment section is full of people are calling it 'AI slop'. I don't believe this is simply a case of partisans being bitter and conspiratorial. I just saw a journalist from another city with no connection to this election speculate that this is AI. Because AI video is so clean and cinematic, people are now assuming anything that's well filmed is somehow AI. This is part of the reason we tell so many of our clients who want to film social content to simply pick up the phone and talk into it. People are starting to mentally flag that anything well-produced may be AI generated. Most people consuming content online prefer authenticity over production value. Of course, people using AI to generate content have caught on, and they are now using AI tools to generate imperfect, grainy footage to look more real. People are already having a hard time telling the difference -- and this is the worst the technology is ever going to be.
Proud to be supporting @BradMBradford for Mayor in 2026. Our final spot 🎬

Failing to hit a target? Stop measuring. Problem solved!
Housing Minister @gregorrobertson drops any mention of promise to target 500,000 housing starts annually as minimum required to restore affordability. Department @HICC_ca is no longer focused on “housing unit counts.” blacklocks.ca/feds-drop-hous… #cdnpoli

The audacity from @oliviachow to drive by smear @ScottAAitchison — one of the most fundamentally decent human beings in politics, well-liked across parties, and a dedicated public servant of 30+ years — tells you everything you need to know about her.
Brad Bradford is standing by his endorsement from Scott Aitchison, the Poilievre Conservative MP who wants to keep handguns legal on our streets. Why would Bradford campaign for, and accept the endorsement of, someone who thinks it’s okay to have more hand guns on our streets?

Another poll shows the mayoral race tightening in Toronto. @BradMBradford has a real shot at winning — if you’re a liberal or conservative in the city, get out and knock doors and make sure you cast your vote for Brad.
The poll of 3,100 Toronto residents was conducted on the evening of October 6, and shows that Chow has 44% support among voters, while Bradford follows closely with 41% support. Meanwhile 11% are still undecided, 3% are supporting a different candidate, and 2% reported that they would not be voting.  scoperesearch.ca/scope-resea…

Three years ago today was the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust. That same hatred has exploded on Canadian streets, synagogues, Jewish schools and businesses. We won't let it become normal. May all of their memories be a blessing.

Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists murdered 1,200 people and took 251 hostage on October 7th, the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. Families were murdered in their homes. Young people were hunted at the Nova festival. Entire communities were shattered. Horrific. Ever since, antisemitism has risen to deeply troubling levels in Canada. Jewish Canadians and their institutions have faced threats, harassment and violence simply because they are Jewish. We cannot allow that to become normal, excused or ignored. My heart is with the victims, their families, and all those impacted by these heinous events.

I have made the difficult decision to resign my seat following the conclusion of the fall parliamentary session. After 30 years of public life, it is time for a new chapter where I will explore new opportunities. From being elected to Huntsville Town Council and Muskoka District Council at the age of 21, to serving as Mayor of Huntsville and, for the past seven years, as your Member of Parliament, it has been the honour of my lifetime to serve you and represent our community. Whether it was in the council chambers, or the halls of Ottawa, I worked to build consensus, cut through the bureaucracy, and make life better for the people who placed their trust in me. I carried myself with the same values of the town that raised me: respect, decency, and looking out for your neighbour. My time as Shadow Housing Minister has allowed me to contribute to a fundamental shift in the national debate on housing. All levels of government have recognized the burden over regulation and excessive taxes and fees place on housing affordability. Our Conservative team can be proud of the work we have done on this file and I know the team will continue this work after my departure. To the people of Parry Sound–Muskoka who placed their trust in me, and those who I disagreed with but promised passionate representation to, I hope I have made you proud. I want to thank my incredible staff who have served me and the people of Parry Sound–Muskoka with distinction. None of this would have been possible without you. To my caucus colleagues and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, it has been a privilege to serve alongside you. I have been fortunate to meet Canadians from coast-to-coast who are counting on us to champion efforts to make life more affordable for all Canadians. I know you will continue this mission. Sincerely, Scott Aitchison, M.P.

This tells you everything you need to know about the Trudeau-era Liberals and the way they thought. A $500M loss for industry is a rounding error to be handwaved away. The same group that thought adding $600 billion to the national debt was fiscally responsible.

The best donation platform for Canadian political campaigns. Lets raise some money togetherđź’°
Do Canadian campaigns need a fundraising platform built in Canada, by Canadians, with the features to compete with American fundraising giants like WinRed and ActBlue? I thought so. So I built one. This project started 6 months ago as a passion project -- I wanted my clients to have the best tools to win. But very quickly I realized this is something that every campaign in Canada needs to have access to. Now, testerdonate is now live with multiple clients, including a major provincial party, multiple municipal campaigns, and several federal Conservative EDAs. We've helped our clients raise six figures in our first few months being live. Our platform includes fully customizable donation pages, event ticketing, and more. Track conversion rates, run A/B tests, create upsells, and customize exit intent popups. Donors can choose to cover processing fees, helping your campaign save on every donation. These are the same advanced tools that American fundraising giants like ActBlue and WinRed deploy in campaigns that raise and spend hundreds of millions of dollars -- built in Canada, for Canadian campaigns, with Canadian compliance and election laws in mind.

I called @_MarkSutcliffe Ottawa's biggest tax hiker. He sat down for an interview with me anyways. We talk taxes, transit, council relationships, and much more in our 45 minute conversation on The Untitled Political Podcast.
