Slow and thoughtful responses >> Half-baked quick responses. This is a principle I strongly follow while responding to Slack DMs and mentions (And try to encourage my team to follow). Block times for focused work. Close Slack. Use Slack reminders (And the new "Later" inbox on Slack). Avoid busy work.
