In 2009, the Cryptocurrency & Human Performance paradigms shifted upward. Bitcoin launched for $0.00099 per coin, meanwhile the 100m World Record is set: 9.58 by Usain Bolt. Fast forward, 2017 Bolt is beaten by USA’s Justin Gatlin, while Bitcoin still a bargain reached $5,000 per coin. 2024-2025 Bitcoin has exploded to $100,000 plus, data says it’s only gaining momentum as big bank$ adopt Bitcoin reserves. “Tomorrow’s Athletes will capitalize on their brand value using cryptocurrency.” @FP1SPORTS (Bolt ‘09 | Gatlin+BTC ‘17)

One indicator of whether a young athlete is nearing peak performance or still developing is the balance between their sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. #DocfitX Tate Taylor & Jake Odey-Jordan are in great hands with Coach K! #FP1sports #trackandfield
We’ve got high school kids running very similar times to the fastest grown men on the planet. Gotta think these high school athletes have peaked right? They can’t keep getting that much faster on the track can they? Idk

Simple Systems Outperform Brilliant Strategies Phil Knight was a college distance runner. His coach was Bob Bowerman. When Knight later started Nike, Bowerman bought in. But long before that, Bowerman had already built something far more important than a shoe company. He built a simple system. On the first lap, run as fast as you can. On the second lap, run faster. On every lap after that, run faster than before. No nuance. No emotional discussion. No optimization theory. Just escalation. It sounds almost childish. That’s the point. Anyone who couldn’t handle that mandate eliminated himself. The system filtered weakness without debate. Simple systems do that. Another example is this: every day means every day. Not every day except holidays. Not every day except birthdays. Not every day when you feel tired. Every day. When the rule is simple, there is nothing to negotiate. You cannot hide behind complexity. You cannot pretend confusion. Complex systems create space for excuses. Simple systems remove mental friction. They remove decision fatigue. They remove interpretation. Decision means cutting off options. When your system has no options, there is no decision to make. You just execute. Most people don’t need more information. They need fewer variables. The simpler the system, the less room there is for you to fail yourself.
