I’ve been a university professor for 15 years, political economy, Duke University, pro-capitalist, thus a minority, and can attest that for decades these schools have price-gouged & indoctrinated millions of students. They’ve destroyed instead of developed young human capital. Deliberately. So a majority of millions would rule and vote socialist. As is happening. Utterly grotesque.
WILD: University of Michigan students PROVE just how STUPID and BRAINWASHED they truly are when they were asked to define what socialism is, while a Fox poll shows nearly half of young Americans still view it favorably.
“Socialism doesn't mean like anti-capitalism. Based off what I learned in my Gov class, it's basically like spending more money on helping society.”
“Socialism to me is a concept in politics where everybody gets a little bit of everything. Everybody benefits and everybody is really taking care of kind of that social net that you see in other types of politics.”
“I think a lot of people get the economic system of Socialism confused with the government system of Communism.”
We are SCREWED if we do not change how the younger generations views capitalism.

Ya'll, this is nuts.
Hundreds - that's right, HUNDREDS - of armed robberies between 2022 and 2024 weren't real.
They were staged by the "victims" as part of a massive immigration fraud scheme to secure U-visas for themselves and their families.

If, by the way, the same situation that just happened in Brazil had happened but with the parties switched -- if Bolsonaro had won last night's election and then a pro-Bolsonaro judge sent the Federal Police to seize Lula's passport and bar him from leaving the country -- every major western media outlet and liberal NGOs would be screaming about the authoritarian attack on Brazil's elections and the destruction of basic freedoms.

“What Will Stein has done in his first season here in Lexington is unbelievable.”

.@UKFootball needs to go 3-1 (or 4-0) at Tenn, hm vs Florida, at Mizzou, hm vs Louisville (3 ranked teams) to be reasonably certain of making the CFP, and probably being in the SEC Championship game.
Either could happen in the go 2-2.
Excited to see how it goes.
Everybody's Super Bowl, @CoachWillStein.

..And he would have gotten away with it too if it wouldn't for that pesky @CoachMarkPope and you and meddling fans.

Rocky Adkins hasn't won a single vote. Somehow he's already sitting on $1.5 million. 🤔
$1.75 million in his first quarter. Jacqueline Coleman got a three-month head start and has $540K. Rough. So who's so excited about Beshear's senior adviser? Let's look at the receipts.
🐎 The Red Mile: 18 people tied to the Lexington gambling hall each gave the max. That's $63,000. Half of them are Antonaccis from Connecticut. Nothing says Eastern Kentucky values like a Connecticut family's gambling hall.
🚧 The road builders: 10 officials from Allen, ATS, Bizzack, Gaddie-Shamrock and Walker, all companies Steve Lawson helps run, each gave the max. That's $35,000. Bizzack is the same Bizzack that won the Mountain Parkway contracts under Beshear. Rocky's not even on the ballot and the asphalt guys are already in line.
🚛 Todd Case gave $17,500 with his family and his trucking company. Then his coal company dropped another $150,000 into the pro-Adkins PAC. Totally normal amount of enthusiasm.
💼 Kinetik, a New York medical-transport tech company, gave $28K through its executives. Then it sent $50,000 more to the PAC. Kentucky's next governor, brought to you by Manhattan.
Now the "old friends" part.
⚖️ Jerry Lundergan and 7 family members: $28,000. Convicted on 10 federal counts in 2019 for funneling illegal corporate money into Alison's Senate campaign. 21 months in prison. Biden pardoned him on his way out the door. Pardoned, not forgotten.
🩺 Former Lt. Gov. Steve Henry: $3,000. In 2003 he paid $162,000 to settle a federal suit accusing him of overbilling Medicare and Medicaid. He didn't admit wrongdoing. In 2009 he took a plea on three campaign-finance misdemeanors from his run for governor.
🏛️ Former Gov. Paul Patton: $1,000. In 2003 he admitted two ethics violations for using his office to help the woman he was having an affair with. Fine and public reprimand. The same year he pardoned four men charged over his own 1995 campaign before they ever saw a trial.
💊 And ARC. Beshear praised founder Tim Robinson in his State of the Commonwealth speech, after Robinson's companies and employees put at least $252,500 into committees backing Beshear. ARC also employed Rocky Adkins' wife. Then ARC agreed to a $16.2 million judgment over Medicaid billing, with no admission of liability. Robinson now faces federal wire fraud and money laundering charges. He's pleaded not guilty, and his trial is in February.
📉 Meanwhile, the state auditor flagged $655 million in unemployment payments the Beshear administration sent out with the eligibility checks switched off.
The old guard showed up for the group photo too: Greg Stumbo with a max-out and Calipari with $3,500.
Same names. Same money. Same machine. They just printed a new name on the yard sign.
