Always found this interesting. As a local elected official in Texas, my email was fair game. I made the city add us to the city email and I would never respond to city business that came through my personal email. 100% of my city emails were fair game. Hell, I even had a ruling from then AG Abbott telling the City to release my emails. Opening Meeting laws were also much stricter than the clowns in the State seats.
