If you ask me many japanese retro games look more natural with D93 to my eye. Personal preference.
The assumption is japanese developers designed their games on a TV calibrated for D93, Japan standard back then. More detailed about the differences: retrorgb.com/colour-malarkeyβ¦

Back TWOC, this game desperately needed better movement for Crash, especially for the slide and monkey bar speed.

How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer?
Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours.
So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

For those wondering if the DC3 method would work on other Xbox games the answer is: kinda. While the native code is 100% identical to a regular x86 processor, the XDK version is not and it requires careful reimplementations. Here's an example with Crash TWOC:

Quick update on the camera, since that's the biggest selling point of this project: if it gets too close to the player due to collision testing, the player model will become semi transparent. Some similar tweaks have been applied to objects and particles becoming culled.
I've also added an option to tone down reflections by making them blurry like real reflections.

This cover basically used the instrumental track of the original Nylon Beat version with these Korean girls adding their singing on top of it. And the song itself is a triumph in Finnish music composition without a doubt, very good international sounding music.

I take back what I said about performance. Despite all-native code, the way XBox does shaders is a pain in the butt, so the game currently runs at like 20 fps or something. Still, it's impressive that it runs so well despite the performance and a couple visual glitches.

If you're wondering: no, this is not yet another recomp, and it's not emulation either via a Xenia wrapper. XBox uses native x86 code, which is very compatible with Windows, so nothing is being translated in terms of opcodes and performance is generally pretty good.
This here is probably the best all age animated series. It's funny as heck, and it always leaves us feeling warmth and positivity. Strong message on lifelong friendship.
Oh yea, this slaps hard

Vibe coded a color converter with ChatGPT to get correct #GBC colors on #SuperGameBoy.
I tried searching and asking for a solution for this, but couldn't find one. Please don't crucify me.
On #SGB, PAL7's 1st color is applied to all palettes. Hence the beige in every palette.
