Today, the Punjab government confirmed before the Lahore High Court that my mother, Aleema Khan @Aleema_KhanPK and my aunts, Dr Uzma Khan @DrUzma_KhanPK and @Noreen_KhanPK Noreen Niazi, have been detained for another 30 days under the MPO. What is particularly disturbing is that, according to the government’s own submission, the extension was approved on 7 October, yet only disclosed before the court on 26 October. Why was this order not disclosed during the Lahore High Court hearings on 9th and 12th October? Why was our family kept in the dark, even after their original 30-day detention periods had expired? For over a month, @ImranKhanPTI’s three sisters have been held in prison, denied access to their families and legal counsel, simply for standing by their brother, Imran Khan. As a son and nephew, I ask: What threat do three women pose to the state that warrants another month of imprisonment? What are the authorities so afraid of? The law should protect citizens from arbitrary detention, not become an instrument of persecution. We demand their immediate release, immediate access to their families and lawyers, and full disclosure of the legal grounds for their continued detention. We will keep fighting for justice. We will not be silenced. #FreeImranKhanAndFamily #imrankhan

The 11,600 tons of seaborne LPG arriving at Port Qasim covers barely two days of national demand. It does not replace an overland trade that moves thousands of tons from Iran every day. Calling the border dispute fake news also directly contradicts Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, who confirmed on October 25 that hundreds of LPG tankers have been stuck at the border for weeks because of Pakistan's new E-Form rules. Official spin can call it anti-smuggling policy or bureaucratic red tape, but the physical supply is blocked at the border, and ordinary households buying cylinders at 600RS/kilo (quoted by several local papers) are the ones paying for it.
Fake News Alert 🚨 🚨 Social media account brief. (@brief_pk) is spreading a fabricated and sensationalized narrative in a circulating tweet, falsely claiming that liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) shipments from Iran have triggered a diplomatic blame game, bureaucratic gridlock, and stalled bilateral talks between Islamabad and Tehran, leaving hundreds of cargo tankers abandoned at the border and forcing Pakistani households into arbitrary cylinder rationing. This claim is ABSOLUTELY FAKE based on the following facts: Contrary to the false narrative of an acute supply paralysis and cylinder rationing, large-scale seaborne LPG consignments have just docked in Karachi to ensure uninterrupted domestic and commercial supply. According to an official statement issued by the Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Sunday, October 25, 2026, the LPG vessel Yellowstone carrying 4,000 metric tons of LPG from Bahrain berthed at Port Qasim and began immediate offloading, following two earlier LPG vessels—Alisa One (3,083 metric tons) and PGC Yanias (4,520 metric tons)—that docked at Port Qasim with 7,603 metric tons of imported LPG for Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), injecting over 11,600 metric tons of seaborne LPG into the national supply chain within 48 hours. The claim of a diplomatic blame game and stalled bilateral talks between Islamabad and Tehran is equally false. On Sunday, October 25, 2026, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri-Moghaddam officially reaffirmed that Iran's borders with Pakistan remain open under high-level bilateral agreements and stated that both countries are actively cooperating to facilitate the movement of goods and strengthen economic ties, while Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mir Naveed Jan Kalmati confirmed that commercial cargo movement at the Gabd-Rimdan crossing has already resumed. Furthermore, enforcing electronic import documentation (E-Form) verification and anti-smuggling checks at border terminals is not bureaucratic red tape, but a standard regulatory measure to curb undocumented fuel smuggling, tax evasion, and illicit black-market hoarding. Concealing the arrival of over 11,600 metric tons of seaborne LPG at Karachi's Port Qasim and the active resumption of documented cross-border trade to invent a diplomatic rift between Islamabad and Tehran is a deliberate attempt by @brief_pk to create artificial market panic and echo the talking points of black-market LPG hoarders.

Colonial Viceroy of KPK, Faisal Karim Kundi, is suggesting that since Murad Saeed absconds, his family can be arrested, tortured or even forcibly evicted from their entitled house. Such collective punishment contradicts the clear command of the Quran: “No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another” (Surah Al-An‘am 6:164). It also violates the principles of individual liability and due process, as well as the constitutional guarantees of dignity, liberty and the inviolability of the home under Articles 4, 9, 10A and 14 of the Constitution of Pakistan. An alleged absconder’s liability is his own; his family cannot be punished by association

Suspension of commercial trade with Iran is seriously bad news. LPG becoming scarce means higher prices for everything. Why do we keep going from bad to worse. Whoever was supposed to fix things ?
Pakistan is in serious trouble. Pakistan has suspended commercial trade with Iran at the Gabd-Riman and Taftan border crossings. This means Pakistan will now lose 7000 metric tons of LPG shipments every single day. Higher prices and shortages have already started crippling Pakistan. LPG is a major cooking fuel for millions of houses in Pakistan. There are no short term replacements. Multiple houses, hotels and restaurants could be wiped out in the coming months. Hundreds of thousands of Pakistani trucks carrying rice, bananas and potatoes are also stranded. This is happening largely because of US pressure Pakistan is staring at millions of dollars in losses. The cost of living crisis will most likely worsen from here. 4 hour power cuts are already occurring in several cities. Pakistan's crude oil and refined petroleum products come through the Strait of Hormuz. But the Strait is now closed. The Red Sea has become the alternative. And Pakistan is secretly bombing Yemen alongside Saudi Arabia. This means Ansar Allah could soon close the Red Sea in retaliation against Pakistan. And the cost of living crisis could lead to a massive catastrophe. Violent riots have already broken out in Europe because the cost of living crisis is totally out of control. Masked rioters have been throwing stones and fireworks at the police. Shops. Buildings. Vehicles. Everything is burning. Pakistan could be on the verge of a similar disaster.

Mohsin Naqvi had stated after the emergency that the province was not being split and that the new ACS would report to the CS, and that these emergency districts administration would be like the South Punjab Secretariat. However, it has emerged that these twelve districts now do not come under the domain of the Governor, the Governor's Advisory Council, the new Chief Secretary, and the KP administration. This raises several questions. The new ACS for these 12 districts, a Grade 20 DMG officer, alone will enjoy the entire powers of the government. He is the government. This raises several questions. 1. If the action against PTI is on the basis that this Governor and his team are better equipped to run the province than the elected government, then how can it be that the governor is good enough to run the province, but not be entrusted with the affairs of his home district, DI Khan and the 12 districts of his region? 2. Similarly, if the 11 member technocrat cabinet is so capable, why can't they run their departments in the emergency districts? If one Grade 20 officer is better than them, then why not give the rest of KP to the Chief Secretary to run? Why have any technocrat or politician at all? 3. Can unelected officials in a 48 member council (one of whom is dead, 6 who have resigned, and another who has called for talks with the Taliban and who happens to be the vice chairman of the council) replace elected MPAs from their district? Many of these people got a few hundred votes and stood for election. How can they represent an area that rejected them? 4. If the idea is to focus on the emergency districts, how can five or six officers be given the charge of 40 departments? 5. If the idea is to bring government closer to the people, why will this administration and the ACS sit in the FATA Sect in Peshawar rather than in DI Khan or Bannu? And why will they report to Islamabad rather than Peshawar? So many questions... No answers...

Yes my English comprehension is as good as that of a sub inspector or his superiors who take inspirations from a TikToking chief executive of a province. When the CM is angry the SHOs like me will be lost in translation and the accused may not live to correct it.

Just before POTUS exited the Iran Nuclear Deal in 2018, Mr. Macron insisted before the U.S. Congress that "France won't leave the JCPOA, because we signed it." Today, he claims he always opposed "any form of nuclear activity" in Iran. Get your story straight, Mr. President.

“In late spring 2020, a source I knew to be reliable called me with a story,” writes Matthew Cole. “The Dutch government had hacked into Jared Kushner’s phone and monitored him as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, the source said, was that the money in the account—hundreds of millions of dollars—had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Most importantly, Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary and a one-time hit man. The story sounded preposterous, I told my source. And yet. Six months later, I found myself speaking with someone else about the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa when I asked, on a whim, whether they knew anything about Kushner and bank transfers from a UAE account. My acquaintance grew quiet. Then they replied, ‘Yes.’” Kushner’s lawyer denied the bank account existed. 🇺🇸🇦🇪🇸🇦 New book claims Gulf leaders gave Kushner secret access to $2 billion Investigative journalist Matthew Cole says UAE and Saudi leaders put the money into at least 2 accounts tied to Kushner during Trump’s first term, and that Kushner never disclosed his access to them. And the way it surfaced is wild. Dutch spies flipped a Russian hacker, slipped into a Russian server, and found screenshots of Kushner’s phone sitting right there. So they found a way into his phone themselves, and watched him log into a Dubai bank account holding hundreds of millions of dollars. Kushner’s lawyers say he has no knowledge of any such accounts and never broke any laws, insisting there are no accounts and never were. The book drops next week, and these are some pretty serious claims that still need independent verification. Source: Vanity Fair / Writer: Daniyal

We are working on a full investigative piece that cross-checks the data, but PTI did not grant the Boya lease in 2016. In July 2016, two years before the May 2018 constitutional merger, North Waziristan was part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). The provincial assembly had no jurisdiction there. Islamabad governed the agency directly through the federally appointed Governor and the FATA Secretariat, which is why the lease’s official file number is FS/MCC/NWA/ML-Copper/2013 ("FS" standing for FATA Secretariat).

Nice try with the “forensic cover-up” narrative. At a 5% royalty rate, applying the 2016–2024 exchange rates to $35 million in raw pithead value yields approximately Rs169 million—roughly what was paid. For a 5% royalty to generate Rs1.25 billion, the raw ore value would have to reach Rs25 billion. Those numbers need to add up. Likewise, combining $9.3 million in machinery imports with $9.9 million in exports from a trade website does not magically establish taxable revenue. And blaming a September 2024 NAB letter for thousands of mining leases falls apart when KP records reportedly show 3,962 leases had already been issued by February 2024—seven months earlier. PTI granted the Boya lease in 2016 and governed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for 13 years. So why reduce the entire debate to one copper plant in North Waziristan while ignoring 4,916 allegedly preferential leases and a Rs16.94 billion audit controversy? The public deserves answers, documentary evidence, and accountability—not selective blame-shifting. Stop using one mining project to divert attention from the wider questions surrounding KP's mineral leases and financial oversight.

Forcibly evicting @MuradSaeedPTI elderly and disabled mother from her home and throwing her belongings onto the street is state brutality at its most shameful. What kind of lawlessness targets the mother of a political opponent? This is a flagrant violation of human dignity, fundamental rights and the rule of law. This is Viceroy Kundis Rule for you.

Imran Khan’s vision was to invest in human capital, with education and healthcare as priorities. Education: Literacy rose from 52% to 58% despite nearly two decades of terrorism and insecurity. Sehat Card: Launched in 2016, the programme had provided free treatment to nearly 5 million patients by the end of 2025, with cumulative expenditure of approximately Rs135 billion. Today, around 34.5 million people are covered. If it remains effective Education Card: KP announced the scheme in 2024, initially targeting 40,000 children in nine underdeveloped districts, alongside stipends for around 550,000 girls in grades 6–10. Investing in people , not merely infrastructure was central to @ImranKhanPTI vision.
KP’s literacy rate increased from 52% in 2011/12 to 58% in 2024 /25 a 6 % point rise. Since 2007, KP has endured nearly two decades of terrorism, militancy and conflict, directly disrupting education and destroying lives. Despite these extraordinary challenges, the province has continued to make progress in literacy. Compare this with Sindh under the PPP rule its literacy rate fell from 60% in 2011/12 to 58% in 2024/25, despite years of governance and substantial public spending. Recognise the progress alongside the challenges. Facts matter more than political point scoring. @fkkundi Source: The Friday Times, 12 August 2026
