I was taken aback by how overt it was. It was so bad. One of the comments was, “I’m surprised by how high the results are.” Someone else questioned the methodology (I’d used the industry’s methodology 😏). Another one suggested I made a wrong call…until I read the comments. 🦗

As a U.S. immigration attorney, I occasionally get (and have to refer out) outbound immigration requests from U.S. citizens. The amount of shocked faces I get when I explain “Yeah, so every country has their own immigration laws,” is honestly so funny, lol

This happened because a radiologist is working their ass off to get cancer scans read at 11 pm on a Friday before the weekend and it is Federal law that results are immediately available to the patient in the electronic record
Healthcare is the only industry that drops your cancer scan results into an app at 11 PM on a Friday, then closes for the weekend.
No call. No context. Just a PDF full of words like "suspicious" and "cannot be excluded" and a little banner that says "Sleep well!"
Meanwhile billing found me in 4 hours 😐
Any apology this couple gets is because they (owner, agent, and firm) got caught, NOT because they are remorseful.
🚨 BREAKING: A Black couple showed up to tour an apartment in Queens... and the broker accidentally texted THEM instead of the owner: "Ugh. They are Black."
They'd just moved from Delaware for her new job. Now they're SUING Douglas Elliman, the agent AND the owners.
"It doesn't change the pain. It doesn't take away the pain you caused us that day."
Think about it. They were judged before they even had a chance.
They only found out because she texted the wrong person. Most people never do.

My life is being consumed by volleyball. LOL Took Laila to ONE match to see their varsity team play and stayed for a second match. Saturday is her team’s playoffs, and she’s playing in the offseason.
I know HSAs are there to be used, but every time a transaction greater than $50 clears, I lament how terrible it is that everything is high. 😭

I work from home. But I understand your anger. Id be salty too if I had to work in an office. I would say just stream it on your work computer but you’d probably get fired. Now stop tweeting from under your desk and put your phone back in your pocket before you get written up
