I first heard about "hedonic adaptation" when we were walking around Times Square with @DrSamChan filming this. As Sam makes clear, our culture pursues happiness as if it's a right, but it always wears off.
Here's a PEACE (boom-tish!) I wrote for SMBC ...
"We have a basic need for completeness ... Everything as it should be. Even more importantly, you’re where you should be ..." But how to find this peace?

Just starting to read The Missing Peace by @DrSamChan from Australia, published by @thegoodbookuk
2 thoughts from reading the first page:
1) Exciting, pacy opening
2) Glad Sam contextualised for his audience and used the term 'flip-flop' rather than the Australian equivalent
Haha you know you go to a Chinese Church when this is how you attract youth to your church during the HOLIDAYS #WestSydneyChineseChristianChurch
Thanks heaps (as we say in Australia) to @TrevinWax for the shout out
A new evangelistic booklet from a wonderful friend and one of the best evangelists I know - @DrSamChan
Praying this circulates far and wide for many Christmas seasons to come.
